Jerry is a condescending, old, rich dude who’s hobby is trying to pass himself off as some kind of football savant. It’s funny, infuriating, and somewhat sad, especially if you are a fan of this once great franchise.

I mean he’s always talking the most complete nonsense and thinks the audience has substantially less football iq than him. Too bad the opposite is true

This can be looked at as an insult to Nooch or he's comparing their situations saying they can't be anymore challenged due to surrounding circumstances and that things simply can't get worse for them or their QB because of the situations they're put in.

Considering Jerry rarely ever criticizes a player I'd have to say he's giving Ben an excuse for his struggles.

Are we at the point where the GM attacks the 3rd string QB? Is that where this franchise is at? Hey
I think that was just the spin put on it to get people to pay attention. I think Jerry was just saying DiNucci is a project who was thrust into playing before he was ready to play.

The Nooch is the only reason we're in the playoff race right now

Dinucci was awful. He didn’t belong on an NFL football field at that point.

so Jerry isn’t really wrong. What’s the difference?

The difference is the Broncos had no choice given the timing. Gilbert had been with the Cowboys for over two weeks and they chose to start DiNucci.

The other difference is the Broncos owner is classy enough to not bad mouth the kid publicly.

The Cowboys had him throw 40 passes, that's crazy considering the situation. Broncos QB threw 9. No way we should have had Hooch throw more than 20-25 passes.

So Jerry wasn’t getting “the Romo vibe” from the Nooch like some of our fellow fans here, lol? Seriously, I never take Jerry’s comments too seriously anyway althoughI think it’s stupid to dis one of his draft picks in public.

I'm going to disagree completely and say it was a back-handed compliment to Nooch. What? You believe our 3rd stringer had more time to practice with the 1st team before his first ever start? I think he did pretty well considering. Denver's QB started at Wake so it's not like he's never played the position before. I'll take Nooch's start over Denver's WR/QB. They both were challenged and our's almost came away with a win.
I have to agree - he was trying to make something happen after a very short period of acclimation. Is he a quality starter? No, but given time and reps he could be. He was pretty good at JMU.
I recall Mahomes slinging some sidearm throws on occasion. Is it recommended? LOL, no. It made da Nooch look bad, but doesn't mean his is a bad QB. Anyone recall seeing he good throws during the game?

honestly Jerry is an idiot but I dont think he was cutting down Ben. I think it was more that he dont feel too sorry for the Broncos as weve had a difficult QB rotation this year and had to adjust
