hate to break it to you guys but similar to Denver's situation we had dak who never got hurt and Dalton just in case, Nooch was never supposed to see the field, he was going to be long term project who did get a PS game because of the NO OFF SEASON..

he was forced in , we didnt realize GG was even ready..i wish we did thats an easy win over Philly with GG..

Jimmy Johnson once said if a fringe player falls asleep in a team meeting, you cut him. If Emmitt does, you nudge him. Was JJ a coward too?

You don’t alienate your larger investments.
Youre comparing a guy doing something irresponsible to a guy who just isnt good. Dinnuchi did nothing to get that from Jerry. Meanwhile its players that do far worse on the field effort wise and he says nothing. COWARD.

Not supporting DiNucci in anyway just one thing I was thinking during the game and he clearly wasn't ready but it looked like they didn't bother giving him 9-10 plays he could know inside out during the week he prepared. It looked like they prepared all week on trick/gadget plays for that game. I've seen DiNucci play pro-style football and he led teams to championship games in College ball. I still think there are major coaching issues on this team. The whole franchise is just a mess right now.
Yeah, some of the Cowboys creative game planning isn't so much geared for the defensive weakness of a specific team as much the play calling is just pulling off the unexpected. Some teams are now able to read the trick plays, as they are becoming a trademark!
The Nooch was successful in his college days, (not that it guarantees NFL success,) but he was thrust into a plug and play offense. Very little time to prepare or very little concern given to the matter.
Now, Gilbert looked like he had some play calling that suited him. And, he is better suited as the backup.

Jerry’s not my favorite guy, but you seem to be a ‘JImmy rules/Jerry drools’ kind of fan, where everything’s black and white. We live in a grey world, and the lines are blurred. Jerry’s always been a talker. I’d lay money his intention was not insult, but guys like him don’t fare well in today’s world of hypersensitive overreaction. You sound like one of those guys who will argue against facts and common sense, rather than admit an erroneous take, so I’m gonna do a hard pass on friendly debate. ✌

I think that was just the spin put on it to get people to pay attention. I think Jerry was just saying DiNucci is a project who was thrust into playing before he was ready to play.

Do you create spin around a 3rd string QB?

LOL.
So many pure goofballs love to get riled up by innocuous nonsense Jerry says.
He literally lives rent free in these peoples heads.

Dallas drafted DiNucci to develop him not play him. When he had to play he was clearly not an NFL QB anymore than Kendall Hinton.
QBR of 24 versus 27.

Neither team was winning with those guys at QB and neither team did.
Dallas signed 2 street QBs they'd play over DiNucci if they had to in Rush and Gilbert.

No one feels sorry for you in the NFL. They take their W and keep it moving.

Jerry just took offense weeks ago wjen he snapped at the radio guys. Im sure the radio guys meant no harm. He can dish it but cant take it. I remember I went to a game in 2013 and they showed him on the big screen and everybody booed. Now its not shown anymore. Jerry isnt hypersensitive himself? :lmao:
I cringe when i think what would happen if a host on 105.3 the fan actually asks him real questions since hes such a talker

If it grabs readers/viewers/listeners, sure. The media doesn't care how it does that. And, realistically, DiNucci isn't the story, Jerry is.

This was small man behavior even for Jerry.

If you believe what Jones is saying than that's a kick in the nuts of your own scouting department.

I don't know, I suspect this is was spun to make it a story. It wouldn't be a story if they spun it as "Jerry says DiNucci was put into a position he wasn't ready for", but it is a story if spun as "Jerry insults DiNucci".
