It is not a realistic scenario.

They'd be getting Dak and the 4th overall pick (to fill another hole) so I doubt they'd care about Darnold in that scenario.

I doubt they care about Darnold in any scenario at this point. The Jets are staring at Lawrence right now and will take him. This scenario is not a realistic one, no matter how much the Dak haters drool over it

It’s meaningless regardless of who throws for a lot of yards.

There are different factors for why different QBs throw for a lot of yards..
It’s mostly all attempts related.

Just look at the 2018 draft class, that tells you all you need to know and there are several other examples.

They weren't wrong on Elway, Aikman, Manning and Luck. Everybody knew what they were and Lawrence had a much more prolific college career than them.

Nothing is 100% but you would not bet on him being a bust.
