The Jones will push for it. He even said he wanted to but the agent kinda fd him.
So yea he will
What evidence do you have that the Jones will push for it?

They have had two years to “push for it” and they havent.

The fact they had the 5yr offer on the table. Agent turns it down. Dak comes out and says he was gonna sign and his agent said no.
Hmm
It was actually really easy to find.

Jones knows if he doesn't resign Dak he will loose his locker room and possibly many FAs to come after.

So yea they gonna get that done.

This is all conjecture on your part..

Up until the deadline to reach a long-term contract, Dak’s representatives had little to no communication with the front-office. That is not “pushing for a deal”. They obviously were 100% content with him playing on the tag.

Absolutely nothing has changed since then except Deshaun Watson receiving his deal and Dak breaking his ankle. In what world would it make sense to be in a rush to sign Dak to a deal higher than Watson’s while rehabbing from a gruesome injury?

I agree with you in some cases, but also want to add the part of about if Dallas doesn't sign him they will lose the locker room. I don't think that's right. I mean besides Zeke and a few other players I really don't think players will quit or "lose" as somebody says. Football teams cut players and or trade them just as fast. While Dak is a special player and person I don't think it will affect the team....We are currently the worst team in Football...so what else would we have to get used too. I do know it will a PA disaster, but hey it not like Dallas won't have options. I like Dak but at the end of the day I support the Dallas Cowboys. If we trade Dak because that probably be the alternative I am sure we would get something back, also if they sign him and it doesn't happen (winning season) people will still blame Dallas and JJ, so its a 50/50 split either way. I would hope they sign him, but at the end of day as a fan I just want a direction....if the direction is a new QB...than so be it. I am still going to be a fan and will support. If Dak goes to another team and win of course I will be upset. I got used to Ware leaving.....it happens. I just hope DAK and his agent can get a 35 million dollar deal.....look at Watson....Houston might regret that deal in a few years. Houston is going to tear it down and rebuild. It might not be Watson now, but he won't be there if in 3 years they are not winning...I guarantee you that. JJ will be gone this off season for a 2nd or 3rd.....

FA will still come and I really doubt FA will not come because they didn't sign DAK....are you kidding me!!! $$$$$$$$ brings in players in the NFL not playing with your BF like the NBA...........Look around....all those players that say I would play here forever...it just a PR thing....it right their agents tells them to say. Players will go where their is more money on the table. If not. players would not sign with last place teams.

So when they go public and say he is our guy we want him on this team. We wanna sign him long term we support him love him and will do everything we can do to help him. Because he is our team.

Stupid things to say publicly. But anyways.
Watching his team mates come to his defense and alot I mean alot of outside players supporting him aswell.

Yea trade him and watch.

Idk what people say the dude is loved by the Cowboys and players around the league. And sure players sign for the money. But never ever bail out on a top guy when he just is comming off an injury.

Come on.
We need to focus on the def. And move forward. We need a OG aswell. C.Williams gotta go thats all. 2Cbs 1 lb 1 dt 1 OG and alittle depth. Thats it. You have to prioritize the process who will go where. And what you can get later.

I'm a big fan of Hamilcar Rashard JR. Very under rated player who is as good if not better then Parsons just is playing in a none top school.

But what ever.
Two CBS Rodarius Williams and Patrick Surtain II.
OG depends
How far u move back or what picks u get in a trade

I love Farley. He has everything it takes to be a stud CB in the NFL. I hate the idea of taking a guy in the top-10 who's coming off an ACL tear though, and he has a history of back issues too. IMO picking BPA becomes more important when you pick near the top and unfortunately this is a horrible year to be needing defense. If we can't have Sewell, which player would impact this team the most? Parsons? Surtain? No one wants to take a TE in the first, much less in the first third of day one, but what if Pitts is Travis Kelce? I'm not saying he should be the guy, but damn.

I like Farley play also but dang he is twin to Sean lee when it comes to injuries. If we are at pick 3 or 4 and Sewell is there we have to take him. I had one mock draft where we traded down in the first got an extra 2nd third and 4th pick and Pitts was there in the first I took him. I think he is the best TE to come out in a while.
The thing is thats even if we have a Combine you got players that have been working out in Calif. Parson and Ross for example If we have a combine Im pretty sure that since they have really been working on their game will come in and blow the Combine up. You also know there is always a QB that comes from out of no where to wow some teams. Jamarr Chase has been working on his game look for him to turn some heads.
Of course Im hoping that all this happens so we can trade down if needed and still get the player we want.

In this scenario, they have Fields still there at 4.
I could see someone trading up for him.
Thats what I am hoping for and you know there is going to be some player that is going to blow up Combine.
