I speak for myself and many....feel good about dez if you want but it has ZERO to do with making any cowboys fans feel good about this trash crap show of a season.

right now this team and it’s fan base need to be pissed off and have no “feel good” stories....let alone something from a former player on another team...

there has to be so much anger and frustration built in the fan base and on the team that change happens other wise we will see the same garbage again next year.

Ha....making me laugh....feel good stories about a former player making us feel better about a 3-8 team, come on man
I'm done getting mad at a team that doesnt care. I can express frustration, but I have no problem putting the game on the pc while I do other things on the tv or in the background and listen.

Dez was a beast until the quarterback changed. One quarterback knew how to put it where Dez could go and get it, the other didn't, and that much was plainly obvious.

I have to admit I am continually confused by the number of "fans" who seem to want so badly to hate these players. What does it buy you to waste so much emotional energy on something so negative and toxic. Dez was a great player for the Cowboys for a stretch. We know his decline coincided with the changes at QB. Was some it injury related? Sure.. but if it was, the injuries stemmed from Dez repeatedly putting his body on the line to help the Cowboys win games. For people to then turn around and "hate" the guy because he paid a physical price for trying to help our team win seems illogical to me. I wish nothing but the best for Dez. I hope he averages 100 yards a game the rest of the season and goes off in the playoffs like he did his last playoff game in Dallas. I'm glad he's back in the league and frankly he is exactly the kind of receiver the Cowboys could use right now.. A big body red zone target who can go up and take the ball from the DB. I'm happy with the receivers we have, but none of them has that particular skillset. And we are missing it .. badly..

By the time Dez got cut he was just a shell of the WR that had existed just a few years before.

He was also a constant distraction during games and even criticized teammates and the staff.

With Jerry still being the fan he was, Stephen and the staff members outvoted him to cut Dez.

I hope to get to your level of acceptance one day

I'm not to that point yet, but I will admit I almost turned the channel in the 3rd quarter of the last game. Watching the team continuously make bad calls, bad plays, miss blocks, miss tackles, bad passes and penalties at crucial times is hard to take. I probably could count on one hand the number of games I've quit watching over the last 52 years. But every week it gets harder and harder to watch this mess...

Dez kind of acted out his last year especially that seattle game but he still couldve been asked to take a paycut and didnt have to have goofy Will Mcclay and silver spoon Stephen bad mouth him after the release

Amari Cooper is the only WR I've ever seen who doesn't demand the ball .. Dez wanted to win.. When we got the best use of him we won more.. Too many times Dez would have a matchup with a DB who couldn't hold his jock and we would target Dez 1 or 2 times.. I would be a distraction too.. especially if we were losing the game.. I would tell the coach, the QB, the OC, the line coach, the DB coach, the owner, the head trainer, Rich Dalrymple, the fans, anybody who would listen that we could win this damn game if they'd just throw me the ball. I will never forget that game at KC when Dez had 120 yards and two TDs in the first quarter.. and then was not targeted again until late in the 4th.. I believe we lost that game 17-14 .. Dez's TDs turned out to be our only scores all day. Dez should have strangled both Romo AND Garrett after that game. He should have had 300+ yards and 5 TDs in a blowout win that day. Instead we lost and the main reason was that we stopped going to our biggest matchup advantage after the first quarter.

But Dez never criticized anybody until they released him. And at that point they were all fair game. But while he was playing for the Cowboys the dude was about winning.. Period..

Let's hope he scores 5 TDs in front of Jerral Wayne. He so deserves it. The more embarrassed this clown Jerral looks on national TV up in his box the better. Kick butts Dez!!!
thats just a terrible fan comment.

I love me some dez but hoping your team gets scored on by an ex player is Ludacris , the fans today are clueless to what toe WORD Fan is supposed to mean, I wish him the best exception, when he plays US!

it for sure doesnt mean tanking , hoping for losses, and wishing a players has career game against your own team..

Not sure he can be embarrassed from cutting a guy who hasn't been healthy enough to play for 2 years. It was the right thing to do for the team at the time. Hope Dez plays well with whomever ends up playing QB for them.

Dez is just glad he was able to get a job with another team. It will keep him out of Home Depot/Lowes for the season. Next year, who knows.

A very good Cowboy, all time td reception leader and all that. I enjoyed watching him play.

having said that, not sure I understand the local Dallas media’s love affair with him. I know he’s had some issues, and I commend him for overcoming his upbringing, but Dez was a very good player who’s time was up both with some of the sideline stuff but mainly with the productivity.

good player, but I swear, the local media act like this is a top 3 all time Cowboy coming back to play against them.

Dez was a poorly behaved infant who needed baby sitters when he first arrived. Then Dez cried for more money then sandbagged us for 3 years. He was playing so far below his contract that even drunk Daddy was fed up. He had some productive seasons here but he never really won or accomplished anything. He dropped the only meaningful catch. Man this franchise really has bottomed out.
