Depending on how Hurts does will have a say on Wentz future. No doubt Wentz will be given a chance to compete for the starting job but if Hurts shows better skills then Philly will move forward with Hurts. Will be interesting to see this all play out.

I would still take Dak broken ankle and all over Wentz and I like Wentz coming out when he was drafted but now no way.

Wentz is the worst starting QB in the NFL

Dak is the best QB (and player) from the 2016 draft.

I think with the limited offseason and being a rookie Hurts is going to get a very limited game plan to work from. While he's a pretty good athlete and a decent runner he's not Michael Vick or Lamar Jackson. He's more like a Tebow as a runner.. Just bigger and stronger than a lot of the people trying to tackle him but not really that fast. It should at least be interesting to watch.. if for no other reason than to savor the times when the camera pans to Wentz after Hurts makes a good play.. Those moments will be priceless.

Do you honestly think this was a knee-jerking decision? Look at the financial investment and its impact on their decision. You don't make this type of decision at THAT position w/o careful planning and patience and certainly not by one person. In other words, my guess this thing been boiling since last season and just coming to a head. Again just my take, but I wonder if coaches started seeing SOMETHING last season that cause them to question whether or he was the long-term answer EVEN if he had just signed a new deal. Think about, burning a 2nd round pick drafting Hurts was no coincidence, especially when they had so many holes at other positions. It's probably why a recent article just came out that his confidence has tanked Hurts on the team. What interesting to me is not one player had come to his defense. No idea how they fix it but hats off to the franchise for having the bells to make the bold/hard decision.
