There’s a reason the same group of fanbases are talking about tanking for draft picks year after year.

It won’t bring salvation in the vast majority of cases, and such a mindset within an organization is toxic and a far greater net negative than any positives generated by higher draft picks.

While thats mostly true, if 2 players are close and you have strength at one position you might pick for need at that point.

People who approve of tanking fail to understand the downstream consequences of that. Frankly, it screams “I never played organized team sports”.
