I think the fans who wanted a top 5 pick are the ones who are most disappointed with this win. Some have an agenda to get a top 5 pick because they believe that getting their dream QB in the draft if a way to get rid of Dak let they have been wanting to do for a while.

Awful team beats god awful team, I see no reason to do cart wheels. If you are celebrating the last likely win of the year..
... I guess.

No. I want a top 5 pick. But I’m fine with signing Dak long term....

And either landing a blue chip prospect or trading down for a bounty (with all of the holes we have on defense) if there is a QB on the board that a team wants to trade up for.

I like how folks try to define other people's fandom.
My fan loyalty is not up for evaluation. I'm a Cowboys fan. I also want them to get the best players possible, and that's higher in the draft.
Now, if we win out and get to the playoffs and get to the Super Bowl, I'll be wrong.
But my fandom will still be intact.
Wait. what? You dont like super fan call out threads when the team is currently a laughing stock?

Calling each other names after wins is the norm but let's try making this thread the exception.

Thread re-opened.

I'm glad we won - always celebrate a win. I also want us to draft a 1st round QB. It's too early to think about draft tactics - a lot will change between now and April.

Our draft position is slipping..... a scapegoat is already identified...players are happy the season will be over soon.. JJ is delighted to keep the band together ... and this is how our story for more then 25 years

You’re more then a casual fan if post on a fan message board.

I respect both sides of wanting the better draft pick or being happy about the win today.

To each their own.

this must be how jaylon feel when he makes a tackle after giving up a 20 yard run on 3rd and 10 and he jump up and dance like he won the super bowl

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Cowboys win. It felt like an early Christmas present.

I had mixed feelings about losing the Penei Sewell Sweepstakes, however.

I expect we'll fare well in the draft, anyhow. Sue me, if you must!

Not happy.

Because i know that the Bengals are trash and the win does nothing but hurt us. We need top level talent...moving down in the draft doesn't help that.

So no top level defensive talent will be available? I don't follow mocks.
