What a bust Awuzie was. Maybe I’m misremembering but I can’t recall one damn play he’s made in his time here where I said we’re gonna win because that happened

Its like they dont remember rushing Dez Bryant back with a similar injury and what that did to his career.
The foot is a complicated piece of anatomy. Not sure if it's the same foot he injured in college, but why risk any of the kid's future for a lost season.

He had a pick against denver his rookie year

A pick against the Giants in the end zone

Then the one that hit him in the face against the Rams

That’s all I can remember

Mike McCarthy said the Cowboys are hoping to have Chidobe Awuzie (COVID list) and Trevon Diggs (injured reserve) at practice on Wednesday, which would help their cornerback situation. Diggs is coming back from a broken foot suffered Nov. 8 vs. Pittsburgh. Saivion Smith broke his hand vs. Cincinnati but he is hoping to continue to play if possible. Coordinator Mike Nolan joked he wondered if cornerback coach Al Harris could play vs. Bengals at one point.
