I seriously doubt they make the playoffs and I honestly think it would be the worst possible thing for the team if they did. I mean Come on, they aren't going to win anything and picking 19th in the draft next year is not in their best interest.

They play to win.
They play hard.
They really want it.
Anything can happen.

It's 2020.
And who knows maybe, just maybe, they make a run at this thing.
Every game matters. EVERY GAME.

Dalton is getting up to speed at QB. We're playing a bunch of bad teams. Awuzie and Diggs are our best CBs and coming back. Maybe Donovan Wilson comes back? Defense has shown some sign of life.

We could beat other stinker teams.

Nah, you keep peddlin glass overflowing, thats your right. I'll try to stay grounded, mine. See how that works.
Eat a bag of what? Please tell us.

Please, enlighten us all what you would do with that 5th overall pick? I need a darn good laugh.

1. Whatever you prefer. 2. For the last time. I did not say anywhere that it would be a bad pick. I'm not gonna proclaim him or any other guy from the draft a sure thing in nfl.

Farley was a for sure thing his last collegiate playing season (2019) in a big school ACC division.

He was named first-team All-ACC with four interceptions and a league-leading 16 passes defended. According to Pro Football Focus, Farley only allowed 18 catches on 50 targets and opposing quarterbacks only had a passer rating of 26.8 when throwing in his direction (ranked fifth among corners in FBS).

Los Angeles Chargers defensive back Casey Hayward, who is a mentor of Farley’s, doesn’t think Farley opting out of the 2020 college season (due to covid) will be a problem. Hayward, who lost his mother to cancer in 2016, reached out to Farley after hearing they shared a similar story during the broadcast of the 2018 Florida State game.

A friendship grew from their brief initial interaction.

"If he goes to the combine and runs a 4.2, nobody is going to remember he didn’t play in the fall,” Hayward said.

Farley spent time training with Hayward in May. Those training sessions have the former second-round pick out of Vanderbilt convinced that Farley will be a top prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft.

"He is blazing fast,” Hayward said with a laugh. “We lined up [for a race] and he smoked me. I'm good at the 20-yard dash and I really don’t lose to people, but he’s fast fast. It was only 20 yards and it wasn’t even close.”

Many reasons as noted on video and this article show Farley's personal drive, competitiveness and desire to keep getting better and proving his ability as a top cornerback. He reminds me of Dak. Has suffered similar personal loss and uses that to drive himself to prove he's among the best coming out of college. Definitely the type of player we need.

If he's the pick and he's great, awesome. If not, well, we been down that road many times. As always time will tell.
