This past Sunday I watched the last 2 minutes of the lions game and maybe 6 minutes of the Philly game. This is what happens when the ownership runs the franchise into the ground not mention the dummies running this league..

the games can be torture....

bad defense and a wrecked OL...

a clueless HC and cronyism...

And a wrecked season.

We should have kept Jason.

Losing interest? That’s understandable when even in an era where 12-14 teams make the playoffs, our favorite team only makes the playoffs 7 of the last 21 seasons. That’s 33%. It’s hard to be considered relevant when you only make the dance 1/3 of the time.

The Garrett years probably irreparably damaged my fandom. The horrendous clock management losses, wasted talent, and media's love and excuse-making for him was sickening.

I have more interest now that he's finally gone -- though no coach could've won much this year with the injuries and awful defensive players -- but I switched to watching more of the league as a whole and it's all good. Football is still the best game there is and I can't wait for next year when fans will be back in stadiums.

The Garrett era made the Cowboy parody a reality

I've been steadily losing interest for years now.
I think the 2014 playoff game in Green Bay accelerated things a bit.

Still love the game of football (at all levels), but I'm not as over-the-top anymore about it.....especially the NFL.

I lost interest for most sports when they started bringing politics into games. I watched sports to get away from that mess and then they go and bring it into sports anyway. The only sports that I watch is the Cowboys games and I don’t really care if I don’t watch them at this point.

Basically. Garrett and his nonsense/soft aura, and his relationship with Jerry. Just a garbage ran orginization. We went from a mans man coach in Parcells to 3 straight weasels. MM only hope is getting a d coordinator with some balls. WFT will continue to punk us. Rivera isnt a sissy like Jay Gruden

I never thought I'd say it, but for the first time in my life I'm losing interest in the NFL. My lack of interest goes more toward the entitlement of players, the extreme need of players to spew their beliefs, and the sloppiness of the games.

Very average football across the board. I watch 1/10 the football I did. I just don't care to spend my time cheering for a team without direction and for an NFL that has plunged to new lows. Look at viewership....it is awful nationally.

At least part of it for me is the wokeness. I get it there is a lot of bad in the world but can we just play football. I see the bad everywhere I look and football was always my escape from it. Now it's always in your face and the NFL Facebook is about the worst.
I don't hear much if any talk about outside issues anymore. That's all in the past. This weeks MNF between the Browns and the Ravens was one of the best games I've seen in awhile. Certainly the best game of this year. If you missed it, you missed a great game. The NFL season is a gift I look forward to every year. If you let the outside noise bother you then that's on you. You obviously don't agree with it and it upsets you. Again on you. Ignore what little of that is currently going on and enjoy. If you can't, then too bad for you.

To bad for them. Look at their Facebook page and all their promotions of stuff and yeah I don't agree. I used to be hardcore football fan of the game not just a team. Like I said it was an escape. The NFL season is not a "GIFT" it's a job. It's not a game for these men it's a job. Great thing is I've not lost anything by not watching.

I remember a time when I'd plan my day around the cowboys game. I knew who they were playing, what time the game was, who was injured, where the game would be played, what network it would be on.......
Those days are gone. I sometimes watch the game if i catch it live, but I'm in now way whatsoever set on that being the focus for the next few hours. They can't commit to bringing in real football minds to improve the product, so i'd rather not spend my days watching the good ol' boy ownership screw up a franchise I really love but have lost hope in.
