Where’s your Fan O Meter at?

I am a 4 or 5, Cowboys are always interesting and fun to talk about, and watch, even if they lose every game !
I learned about 10 years ago, that it is better not to get your hopes up with this team and org. and accept the reality,
that it will never be great again.
once you accept that you can have fun watching them lose, .........unless you bet on them to win, then you still get bummed out lol.
Sometimes it is frustrating just the way the jones boys run the outfit, and decisions they make, but then I tell myself, well it is a circus !
then it sort of makes sense.

It is the Jones Clan Cowboys, Dallas cowboys are long gone, they dont even reside in dallas , just use that name.
They are the arlington cowboys who reside in frisco lol but above all they are the jones clan cowboys.
They are what you see this year, a bumbling disorganized outfit that often makes no sense at all.

The one thing I will say about them this year, is they have avoided the C thing that has plagued some other teams, so they did a good job
in that area. but that is about it.
Been some good plays too, mixed in with all the garbage.

But no matter how bad they are, I can find a way to have fun with them.

Buffalo is going to win their div, and be in playoffs again, Cleveland looks to be in the playoffs for first time in long time.
Titans will be in playoffs again for what 3rd year, and the jones cowboys, are sitting at the bottom of their div, setting records for being the worst
at some things lol, so while those teams have been on the move up, jones family have dragged cowboys to the bottom.
So bad they got flexed out of primetime, probably a first, but jerry says everything is great , coaches are great, players are great so
dont worry it will all be magically better next time ! lol. It is the circus !

We are going the wrong way, but dont worry it will be A-OK , Jerry is driving !

I am a 4. Fatigue has definitely set in. Don’t see much reason for hope in the future.

On a related note— my interest in the NFL in general is waning. The product on the field has degraded badly over the years.

Always loved watching good defense, and today’s game is heavily slanted towards offense. Throw in piss-poor officiating and a joke of a commissioner and I am pretty frustrated with the state of pro football at the moment

It’s a 10 because I still live and breath this team every single day regardless of what else is happening in the world. A 2 because we stink and the games just don’t affect me this year. I’m with Jeff Cavanaugh on the team tank

Feels about 3..three fifty maybe

Dak back next year, new draft picks, new DC next year prop it back up to 8-9. This division is still pretty weak but worry about WAS down the line.

I have streamed Cowboys games this season but last weekend I watched all the other NFC east teams and didnt watch a second of the Cowboys. I hate the fact they dont do anything to get better. Wont fire Nolan, bring in washed up FAs that they should of went after when they were in their prime. Letting Byron Jones walk. Even offering Dak 34 mil wants to make me puke.

However, the high point of this season for me has been that DAL-SF game getting flexed out of SNF to an early game and seeing Booger try to spin that as a good thing. The NFL is so concerned about the early ratings with people not going to church that they move that game and CLE-NYG to the prime time. I can only imagine his face when he got that call and on that I am a 10. I enjoy seeing disappointment and sadness on his face after a loss but this was the icing on that cake.

I take a perverse joy out of seeing Jerry's face when they loose, and would have paid good money to see that face when he found out that we were flexed out of SNF for the Browns and a divisional rival!!

At this point exactly what would you like to see the Cowboys do to get better?

Nolan will be gone within a month.

Clearly signing Poe and HaHa was a mistake. I really wish McCoy would have stayed healthy. His play at DT would have made a difference.

Letting Byron walk was smart. You don't give non-playing making players that kind of money. If he could have produced 5-6 picks a year it would have been one thing.

I'd offer Dak $20M a year. He makes enough off the field that his contract doesn't need to cripple the team.

Don't care if I watch the games. But I do wTch highlights. If it's in locally in Milwaukee I will watch the Cowboys. If the Cowboys are not on locally then I don't watch any football.

So I say 3 because I'm still addicted to this site and watch highlights.
