We lose due to common opponents tie breaker.
Correct. In other words, this season is over.

Best to lose out and secure that higher 5th overall seeding in each round which we can either use to draft the best player available or use to trade down to gather extra picks in whichever round. Jerry and Stephen need to get smarter about how to work the Draft in the team's best favor.

Commanders will not win another game, we will win our remaining games.

Why would the Eagles have nothing to play for?
They could go into week 17 at 5-9-1 and potentially finish 6-9-1.

If Dallas wins the next 2, and Washingon loses the next two, they'd be at 6-9. If they both lost in week 17, they'd be 6-10, worse than the Eagles. If the Giants lose the next 2 before Dallas, that makes Philly the division champ, even with a loss to Dallas.

Do you honestly think there is a chance that Philly beats Arizona this week?

hobesty guys, the math for the cowboys to make the playoffs sounds like some common core nightmare

give it up, it was over at thanksgiving, not happening

They beat NO just 4 days ago. Had them down 17-0 at one point. I don't think they beat ARZ, but who knows. Hurts energized that team.

Didn't say it was likely.

But, did you think there was a chance they'd breat the Saints?

without brees I thought they had a remote chance but they played a very good game esp without that stupid turnover machine at the helm

I don’t see them beating az and if somehow they did it would mean they would probably destroy Dallas the following week so it wouldn’t matter...

i get trying to come up with scenarios to cheer for but it’s not for me, but you guys do you for sure, I can understand why

That's exactly what he did, energize the entire team. That's why they're playing better, not because of actual QB play. Hurts isn't that good at all. Needs a lot of work. Now what does that say about Wentz?

Yes, the Cowboys can finish 7-9 but they likely won't.

I doubt they'll win another game before this season is finished.

It's remotely possible they might even win one more game, if they're lucky.

The San Fran Forty Niners are favored over the C'boys by about 2 points, by the odds.

By the looks of things, at the present time, both Philly and the Giants might also be favored to win.

As long as those Egals don't win the division again, I'm content.

Wentzie would get the credit. We all know how the media has him on a pedestal.

They're counting on Mr. Hurts, these days, to raise him to new and greater glories.

It seems Wentzie has seen brighter days. I'm wondering if he might be traded. ;)

And could still win division
Cowboys would have to win out.

Commanders would have to lose out.

Not going to happen.
Jimmy Johnson told you the formula for winning and making the playoffs in the NFL. He learned it from the Tom Landry years..."Win at Home and win in your division". So, you have 6 wins in your division and 5 wins at home. You do that and you will have an 11 win season every year.

Landry did it 18 times with 12 Division Championships in 21 year span, and the Jimmy Johnson built teams did it 8 times with 6 Division Championships in 9 year span.

Jerry Dumbo GM Jones has done it 7 times with 5 Division Championships in a 21 year span. If you remove the Parcells built team years from 2003-2009 (4 times in 7 years), Jerry Dumbo GM Jones has done it only 3 times in 14 years.

Jerry Dumbo GM Jones did not study the winning formula.

If Dallas wins out they go 7-9. If the Commanders only win one more game but lose to the Eagles they are 7-9. If the Giants win two more games but lose to the Cowboys they are 7-9. That's a 3 way tie. Who wins in that situation? Eagles don't have 7 wins so throw them out.
Giants win because in order for Giants to get to seven games, they have to beat at least one AFC team both Dallas and Washington lost to earlier in season and they have already beaten Seattle.

Haskins will be the QB this week against Seattle and he flat out sucks. Seattle by 2 touchdowns at least.
