He’s such a loser. No wonder his teammates don’t follow him the way they followed Foles.

Signed a huge deal with Philly so they’re stuck with him for now. He should’ve just shown up with a positive attitude in the offseason ready to compete for the job.

If it looks like you’re going to lose the job, THEN you can float this story about wanting out.

You don’t do it before we even get to the offseason!!! Comes off like a complete diva who thinks he was unfairly benched.

Indy will trade for him. Reich is coach, plus they have a need. A first and third should get it done

why would they do this? They have a young quarterback with experience as a backup and could simply resign him to a modest contract and draft a young qb.

This idea that these two should be together because they share the same superstitions is absurd.

The eagles can simply not trade him with that contract and are stuck with the drama.

Report: Carson Wentz wants Eagles to trade him if Jaylon Hurts continues to start

The season isn’t even over yet, but it’s already obvious that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to have an offseason filled with high drama.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that quarterback Carson Wentz is not happy with being bumped from his starting role in favor of Jalen Hurts, and would want to “move on” from the team if that continues.

Drama in Philly?
According to Schefter, Wentz, 27, isn’t interested in being Hurts’ backup and would want the Eagles to trade him if that’s their plan for him going forward. He is also reportedly “not pleased with the way events have unfolded in the organization.”

Wentz, who had been struggling for pretty much the entire season, was finally benched during the Eagles’ Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Hurts started against New Orleans Saints the following week and led the Eagles to an upset win. Hurts was then named starter for Week 15, and while head coach Doug Pederson hasn’t publicly said that Hurts will start the rest of the season, that’s reportedly the plan.

To add to Schefter’s report, ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky reported last week that “a lot of people feel that Carson Wentz feels betrayed” by how things have gone down this season, and there’s a lot of “animosity” built up between him and the Eagles. Orlovsky also reported that Wentz misses former offensive coordinator and current Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich, not just as a coach but as a human being.

This what happens when over paid, underachievers think they are bigger than the team. This dude has done NOTHING in Philly and thinks he should be the QB, what a joke. Hey Wentz since you're out of a job give you're buddy Mike Trout a call, maybe he'll hire you to clean his jock strap between games!

Not only would the Eagles have to take a huge cap hit, they'd likely have to also agree to pay part of that contract. No team in the league is taking that player on that deal without some big time sweeteners thrown in.

Hurts IMO is not a very good QB right now. I wish him the best going forward. But he does seem to energize the team where Wentz could not.
