I’ll admit it was fun watching the cowboys win today

Any one see Jerry Jones (the entrenched general manager)? All smiles. Front office does not want to tank.

Any one see Mike McCarthy? Looked pumped. Coaching does not want to tank.

Any one see the players' expressions? Excitement. Players do not want to tank.

Who's left?

Fans.

Scratch that.

Some fans want wins. Other fans want losses which will land undecided high draft spots for players who may be available and who super genius Jerry Jones hands in the draft card to acquire.

What does this all mean?

Well. The people who have any say in wins or losses do not want to tank. And a portion of fans who watch the team win or lose but have zero say in wins or losses do not like today's outcome.

Life. Through a weird lens.

Was a fun game. For the record I have no issue with this team winning or losing just as long as they give effort. When you actually see them competing and trying and leaving it all out there? It does mean something as a fan and for a minute you forget that you want them to lose and get a good pick lol.

I agree...i come into the games this year with almost no expectations. I also dont mind if they ended up with a top 5 pick, but it was fun to watch today. I also think its better for the future if we can see some guys step up over the final couple weeks instead of drafting a few slots higher.

You don’t know what the definition of tank is, so your post is just a bunch of hot air.

I will take every win and enjoy it. Draft, FO decisions, etc. all up for debate. I want players and coaches that play to win.
