My brother in law got a fancy new pellet grill for Christmas. Were having prime rib, loaded baked potato salad and green bean casserole. Hope he doesn't screw it up! Go Cowboys!

Nothing. I want an empty stomach for the game. If Washington somehow loses, I might blow some chunks if I eat and watch Dallas play with “playoff hopes” on the line...

Left over Christmas ham with beans and cornbread.
I also smoked a salmon to have with assorted cheeses and crackers.

Pecan pie for dessert.

There might even be some left over Christmas beer.

Leftover day. I have piles and piles of stuff left over from the holiday, everything from BBQ to Italian. I'm not a big fan of wasting food, so thats the menu for today. Whatever is left by Tuesday is headed to the curb.

Lazy morning. Eating a variety of mint chocolates for breakfast (Hershey’s, Dove, and Ghirardelli). Need to go workout and eat leftover ribs and ham for lunch.

Making Chili w/ beans, all day simmering, baked sweet potatoes. Just a slow paced, southern afternoon with a fire in the fireplace and Old No7 in my right hand. I split a cord of wood yesterday for this peaceful serenity today. Just me and Jack. Salud.

My buddy that is from Iowa insisted that I order an explorer pack of Iowa whiskeys off the internet from an out of state distributor and they just got to my house this morning. I've got two ryes, a bourbon, a single malt, and a wheated.

Probably going to dive into those with some wings around kickoff. No work until Wednesday this week so I can get as sloppy as I want to be.

We left all of the leftovers at the kid's house (except I snagged some of the ***** & a bit of this awesome chocolate/cherry w/some kind of purplish pudding cake).

Wife says she aint cooking squat today & wants Ojeda's tonight. She even said she'll pick it up, so I don't have to miss any football as a final stocking stuffer.

Forgot to mention we're starting out w/ some deer sausage & eggs. You can see the deer from my son's kitchen window every time we go visit. And no he doesn't lay out on the porch. He prefers hiking about a 1/2 mile into the woods & freezing his butt off for a few hours in the morning.

Made the prime rib on the grill Christmas day. Turned out fabulous almost as good as a bird beat down today. Go Joe!

Since I was alone for Christmas, my sister b bringin' me at about 10am - leftover Christmas ham, a big ol' grilled filet mignon, turkey, with 2 kinds of stuffing, roasted corn, mashed taters, grapes berries and salad . She's a good cook too none of dat pre-made stuff.
