Dalton throws for 300+ yds: fans say keep him. Dak threw for 450+ yds 3 times, fans say cut him?

....and here come the Dak defenders running to his defense when Dalton did what Dak couldn't do: beat Philly in a division title impact game.
Except Dak did do that in 2018. Of course, if a person is pushing an agenda that doesn't matter, and the fact it didn't happen that way in 2019 means Dak just isn't capable of doing it regardless of evidence to the contrary.

No but you are on a message board for people to give their opinions, maybe you should refresh your knowledge about what is supposed to go on here.
This is true, but fans also need to recognize that their opinions aren't based on the same knowledge of all the facts and possibilities the team looks at.

I'm a hater? I'm simply stating facts. I always said Romo studied and knew the game well, but the truth is he went Hollywood. Dak hasn't. That's the difference. Bill Parcells had a warning about QBs who seek the off-the-field limelight.
I am still here...

Dak made 3 Mil on endorsements in 2017.

His sponsors include:

AT&T, Beats by Dre, Campells Soup, Direct TV, Sleep Number and Dannon to name a few. I believe his he has 11 sponsors currently.

If you think this, then you don't actually watch any other teams in the NFL to have the right context. This is just an absolutely terrible take on him. He's not Lamar Jackson

There are maybe 4 (Rodgers, Russ, Patt, Watson) quarterbacks in the league who have the same ability to throw in the pocket and out of the pocket as Dak.

LOL....you just put Dak in the category of 3 of 4 QB's that are the top in the game and have won Super Bowls.......that's funny.

Crazy times we are living in.
I know. Both sides are fools if you think any of these QB's are SB QB's. They both would need a top tier defense to win an NFC Championship. Which QB gives you the best chance to get that defense?

You're talking about a 14 year career for Romo. Dak has only been on the team for 4.5 years, yet Dak is on pace to shatter Romo's come from behind victories. Wisen up.

First three seasons 8 4th quarter comebacks.

Last two seasons 1 4th quarter comeback.

That's 9 4th quarter comebacks.

At this point in his career Romo had 13 4th quarter comebacks. Romo finished with 24.

Romo averaged a comeback every 6.5 games and Prescott is averaging 7.6 games per comeback.

Prescott is below Romo's pace for career comebacks.

. All those people on CZ who keep on telling us we have to sign Dak as drafting is too risky.

People forget that draft picks are given out annually for free! They are not a risk. They are an opportunity to find players.
My point was that drafting a QB specifically isn't just as easy as making a pick in the draft.
Where is the best talent? Typically the earlier rounds.
If you actually read my post and looked at the drafts you would understand that it's not as easy as picking. Go on, look at the QBs drafted.
They are NOT free.
And they are NOT without risk.

This isn't a RB we're talking about.

I'm not saying we HAVE to sign Prescott or that we are obligated or forced to. But it makes sense because we found one. Too bad the FO is too dumb to solidify the team during the rookie contract.

THIS.
Dak isn’t remotely close to the level of any actual franchise QB. Which is why he was franchised tagged and not given the money those 4 got.

Those Dak haters believe the next stud QB can easily be found in a cracker jack box.

Hey, I've always said Dak needs to accept a contract offer somewhere in the low 30s million per season, plus be lengthy enough to allow the team to create some cap space for other players to be signed.

Where were you when Romo not once but twice was given top positional pay during his Cowboys career? Why weren't you demanding the same of Romo at that time as you are now demanding of Dak?

PS: I can't stand hypocrites.

Oh good point...

Except for the fact that Dak actually got paid more than all of them except Russ - he was 5th in total cash this year. The tag is lucrative.

Keep in mind Dalton threw for 300-plus yards against a 4-9-1 team that gives up 8 yards per attempt, nearly 69% completions and has a 104.2 rating, which is 29th in the league...

Want to discount his performance? Dalton is playing behind a backup o-line, first year playing in Dak's friendly offense.

Dak failed to deliver in clutch time, 9 big points , Dalton delivered all game long not just a quarter or two keeping the PO hopes alive. These players and coaches platy to win unlike a loser mentality fan. Truth is neither are keepers unless at a super team friendly deal.
