A potential hurdle would be recruiting, who knows what kind of players he can bring in.

If he wants to become an nfl hc, it's better he stays in Dallas. If not, boise would be a good venue for him. But no question the quickest stepping stone to being an nfl hc is being a good nfl oc. Mcvay, shanahan, matt lefleur and stefanski.

If he stays, it'll be a stab your HC in the back deal, like Jerry did with Garrett.
Interesting perspective. I've seriously considered it. Mac hasn't been here long, but if we entice Kellen to stay and the offense continues to shine, a decision will need to be made.

Recruiting will not be a problem for Moore - or any other HC candidate.
Boise State has had a significant appeal since their signature victory over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. They recruit semi-nationally.
According to Sports247.com - in a 2018 article, 116 California and 32 Texas HS players went to Montana to play on the blue field since 2002.
In that same article, it stated 55 of the 111 players on the Broncos team were from California.

I agree. He needs to take the Boise job. His NFL experience will bring him back to the NFL if he succeeds

Very well could be. What if he fails? Does he get to go back to being an offensive coordinator for the biggest and most well known football team on planet earth? Tough decision in my opinion. As of now he has started a nice resume to coach an NFL team. Maybe college is his dream though.

No. Any coach worth his salt wants to be a head coach.
