Why I don't think Dak is to blame for most of the years

Keep in mind, I said MOST, not ALL. He is to blame for some of the games, but I don't think he's the main problem for the majority.

2016 - Most agree he had a great year.

2017 - I think that year was exaggerated to be terrible, but it wasn't as horrible as people make it out to be. Forgotten were the games vs the Rams and the Packers. We scored 30 points in both games but still lost. If we won those, we'd be 11-5 and make the playoffs. Sure Dak wasn't perfect that year and there were some ugly lows but if we look past the optics, we were 2 should've-won games away from 11-5. Not to mention he was without Tyron Smith in that 3 game stretch, and Chaz Green is so horrible a downgrade from Tyron that you gotta cut some slack to a 2nd year Quarterback getting murdered behind that bum Green.

2018 - We started the year with a league's bottom 3 receiving group, and we greatly struggled on offense at the beginning of the year. Gallup was a rookie, he's not the same guy he is now and yet still our best receiver until we added Cooper, and Dak goes on a 7-1 run to end the year. It's not like we got a major upgrade at the receiver spot, we added only one good receiver but still middle-of-the-pack overall compared to the rest of the NFL, yet Dak was still able to go 7-2 with just a slight upgrade in weaponry. Give Peyton Manning the variation of Beasley, Hurns, Austin, and a pretty much washed up Terrence Williams instead of Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark and..... you'll instantly see the difference.

2019 - Ok I'll admit a lot of that year was his fault. No idea how he was so flat against the Bills, the Saints, the Bears, and the Eagles. But... still just one year.

2020 - We would've been in the playoffs already if Dak played the whole year. Instead we have to closely scoreboard-watch Washington against the Eagles next week. Dak doesn't generally lose to below .500 teams - I highly doubt he would go 0-2 against Washington, and based on those 2 games we would've been in the playoffs already.

2020 and he would have us in the playoffs. lmao, he was lucky to have won one on a lucky watermelon kick. the second credited win he didn't even finish the game. but he would have us in the playoff. okay.
Actually there’s no doubt he would’ve had us in the playoffs this season. We’re one win and a Washington loss from it now. You seriously don’t think we’d have fared much better in some of the games we lost with Dak in the lineup? We were down to the 4th string QB at one point.

all speculations, what's true is he won one game on a lucky watermelon kick, the other one he gets credit for he didn't even finish the game. Truth.

Maybe you didn’t watch the first five games. It’s the only explanation. Dak played out of his mind. The defense was historically TERRIBLE in all of those games. That’s why we lost. Dak lead the league in passing yards when he went down and we were scoring 30+ per game. And our OL was already a mess. Anyone that says Dak was the problem simply has an agenda.

still speculations. the defense hasn't improved until the last game. he barely won on a lucky onside kick. that's the truth. leading the league in stats doesn't equate to wins, if it did we would have been in the Superbowl last year. So somehow leading in stats last year and this year equaled to winning games? it didn't last year or this year but somehow it would have been wins in the games he was out. okay.

They blamed Romo for years too. It's what happens when "their guy" isn't QB.

operative phrase...."for years"....still got paid.

And for our next fairy tale, we will be presenting: Little red riding hood" a story of a fashion model gone bonkers due to massive drug use....

I'm happy to hear that Dak is so otherworldly good that just his mere presence equals 4 or 5 more wins..... Mmmmmmkkaaaaayyyyyyy.

all i need to know is you speculate a lot. if stats can't beat teams with a better offensive line he somehow would be winning games with a worse offensive line. okay. are we done?
You’ve been done for quite some time. Agenda.

It's always someone else's fault. Common denominator, Dak isn't good vs good defenses. There are a few outlier games but the most consistent thing about him is his inability to score vs good or better teams.

So, when he went 13-3 in his rookie year we beat 13 bad teams with bad defenses? Got it. LOL

When a QB needs an elite coaching staff, elite OL and elite defense to beat the better teams, there is a low likelihood that they will get you to the SB and they shouldn’t be paid like an elite QB

You mean like what Troy Aikman needed?
