As soon as we won against Philly I was thinking they would flex either the Cowboys/Giants or the Washington/Philly game.
Doing so maximizes viewership.
Especially when the Cowboys play but the rest of the NFC east has large fan bases as well.
It's definitely a win-win for fans, the networks and the NFL.

Off topic a bit but, I've always believed I live in the best timezone for sports which is Mountain . We got the 1st games from 11-2:30. Second game from 2:30-5:00 SNF & MNF 6:30-9:00. I always feel for the people on the east coast. Especially when it comes to NBA games and baseball games.

I don’t really understand the hate. I know it is mostly on Buck (I’d prefer Burkhardt to him btw) but I think these two are doing a very decent job as a duo.

The Sunday games are nice but the SNF and MNF isn't quite as bad as west coast time but still for those who go to games and all those that work until 5:00 and have to get home grab the wife and kids and get to the game with all the traffic going to the same place and then instead of having a diner that might cost $5 - $8 for the entire family, now paying $25-$30 for diner having to eat the high cost stadium food.

All things being equal I think the overall best timezone for the NFL is the central timezone.
