For me it was jumping out of a plane. Always wanted to but, the old ticker won't allow me to at this point.

There are only a couple of things I regret like not taking more advantage of the educational opportunities the Air Force provided for me, but the biggest regret was me not divorcing my ex-wife sooner than I did. It sounds harsh, and when you're married for 30+ years you feel it's your obligation to stay married. I was miserable and so was she. Life is great now and I haven't been happier.

Not investing in Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, etc..... and not keeping 500 shares of Netflix before it split 7:1, which would be 3500 shares now. Due to circumstances I chose to sell the 500 shares to gets some needed cash flow. That mistake has cost me 1.2M so far.

Probably going to school to become a Civil Engineer/Urban Planner. My grandfather, on my mom's side, was a civil engineer. He actually helped design parts of Kennedy Space Center complex in Titusville, Florida. In fact, my uncle has this huge map of part of Titusville, the Indian River, and the NASA complex on his wall that my grandfather made. Where am I going with all this? I grew up with his gift and his hand. I have a keen knowledge of geography, I love maps (Nerd alert: I literally study Google Maps in my spare time because I find it enjoyable) and I hand drew maps of cities at a very young age (that my mom kept up until her passing in 2018 that I now have). I never got the chance to met him as he passed right before I was born, so, I never had the chance to idolize him in person and maybe get that push I needed from him. Ultimately I took a career path in IT, and it's been great, but I think I really missed out on following my passion.
