he wants an NFL gig....and he might land it right where he's at if he just waits a bit.

Feel bad for Kellen. I was passed up for my dream job twice last year for guys I know I could out work.

It's a very deflating feeling but he's young and will recover.

What? Jerry opened up the wallet. He declined.

Hopefully he stays. He needs a new contract as his current one ends after the year.

There are red zone issues for sure, but overall he has been really good and will only get better with experience. He's light years ahead of Jason Garrett

Been there as well. Was one of 3 candidates. Went out to lunch and everything. I was relaxed and comfortable. After the interview I started looking at homes in area. Then I get voice message telling me they were going in another direction. It’s a terrible feeling. I was in my mid 20s then so of course it was the end of world.

I understand. I applied for a job and did not get an interview and found out that they hired 4 people who were not even qualified to do the job. The 4 had to continue to get trainings and pass a test. They had to be specially supervised also until they passed the test in which the company did not realize until after they were hired.

I really like what Kellen has done with this offense so far. He doesn't call a vanilla offense. I had been screaming for more draw plays on passing downs and more screens to RBs in the red zone. He has done both with some success. I'd like to see more of it.
Think back to the Atlanta game and those two 2-point conversions late in the game. Genius.
I don't know what some of you guys don't like about him.

Yep.

Too much too soon and no fear of failure here.

He's shown some good stuff here and there but he's got no money plays for the red zone, and he doesn't ever build on stuff. He's just rolling out randomness. Sometimes it's great (CeeDee Lamb play), sometimes it's Linehan.

The red zone stuff predates Moore. You need playmakers in the red zone to make plays in the redzone. Cooper is not that, Gallup is inconsistent, and Lamb is still young.
