This is really kind of funny. Just 3 years ago Pederson was being hailed as the next big time coach after winning the Super Bowl and how smart he was for signing Foles as a backup QB. Now lets remember what happens. A team wins the Super Bowl and then a couple of the core players have contracts that are up and the other teams start to bid for Super Bowl players so they lose a couple and they have the old Super Bowl hangover and don't make to the playoffs the following year. Then the next year which was last year the eagles have a decimated offensive line just like the one they and the Cowboys have this year. Now I'm not the least bit sorry the eagles have gone down hill, in fact I'm really happy about it, but for the sportswriters to turn that quickly on the same coach they just raved about 3 years ago is funny.

.

actually they made the playoffs the year after the Superbowl. That was 2018 the cowboys and eagles both made it that year

Theyve made the playoffs the last 3 years, 17' 18' and 19'. I'd LOVE to have Schwartz here as DC if we can't get ZIMMER (aka football Jesus). Get a few good DTs and we're top 10 easily.

Schwartz has the kinda face his own mother would want to punch.

He almost looks like a puffer fish.

I recommend everyone to retire at their earliest possible time, if you can afford it. I retired at 56, and am so glad I did. It's the greatest thing ever.
I retired at 53. It certainly gives you time and opportunity! Wouldn’t change it!

I loved working at cern so much, i never would have retired, save for the fact they have a mandatory retirement age.

A jerk of a human being. Remember when he almost got in a fight with Jim Harbaugh?

Man I’ll be shocked if they beat the wft with all this and the players that are gonna be out

Yup.....It's gonna take a legendary effort from Hurts to pull out a victory. Eagles have a ton of injuries.....yet still...if he's running for his life all night....might as well run for first downs....you know?

Sure feels like it....Wentz to the Colts....book it.

After the season he had and 2 out of his 1st 4 seasons he got injured and most importantly his contract and not forgetting the smaller cap next season, it's pretty unlikely a team will spend draft capital for that contract with a smaller cap for a reclamation project QB. The only place that can be booked is in some fantasy league.

Exactly. He has fielded solid defensives at every stop. A very good DC. I never thought he got a full shake as a HC.
The announcers telling the world he say down with them and said Andy Dalton is a game manager that never met an underneath pass he didn't like was a cold shot that probably got him fired.
They were basically blasting him as his guy got torched deep every play.
Pretty brutal stuff from an announcing crew to a vet coach.

I'm sure he'll be back somewhere if he desires to.

Philly was really good on defense when he returned up til the cap and injuries tore that defense up.

The contract problem is for Philly.
Wentz only has a 15M base next year.
The issue is the 60M in dead money PHI would have to eat.
Wentz may have to actually pay back like 20M to get out of town.
Let INDY pick up his 15M base for 2021 and make the 22M base of 2022 GTD.
OR just extend him now and pay the 20M to Wentz as a bonus and drop the next two seasons bases by 10M each year to make it work.
He'd have to remove some GTD protections from future seasons in all llikelihood.

Were I a GM with a good team but no QB or top 15 pick I'd kick tires on Wentz at that type cost.
But I'd probably only wanna trade off a 2022 conditional pick that was only R1 if he made All Pro, R2 is he made Pro Bowl or R3 if he started 10+ games.
Miss all those and it is R4.

Such a crazy situation.
This is why you never draft a guy like Hurts R2 when you have just locked yourself in at QB.
It's no mans land really.

I cant stand his antics on the sideline either. To be fair he coaches for the enemy so there is a natural dislike there, but yes he has a very punchable face.
