What were we...first and goal from the 8? The one thing you can't do (besides turning the ball over) is getting sacked for a 9 yard loss on first down....jeeze

Yup....

1st and goal from the 7

And then all hell broke loose....

If you would have told me we had 1st and goal from the 7....to save our season...I would have bet we scored 8 out of 10 times. Instead...we breakdown....then compound that w/ a drop. People wanna praise Lamb....All I want to do is buy the guy some new gloves...because he sure drops a lot of balls.

I used to hurt when the Cowboys loss. Not any more. I expect it now. Some way, some how, we'll snatch defeat out of the hands of victory.

As soon as we're on a roll (even against teams that suck), almost everyone starts to forecast good things for the Cowboys.

Fans start to get back on the bandwagon.

A few irrational fanatics even start to predict Super Bowl.

But the inevitable almost always happens.

We crash and burn. And find new ways to do so.

I can't even get upset any more.

It's as predictable as clock work.

Tic tock. The clock has struck 12. The Cowboys have turned back into pumpkins.

Gaede Said:
McCarthy literally lost us this game.

No need to try and dump it off on McCarthy, the Cowboys beat themselves all day long, plain and simple. We lost because we weren't good enough to win. No excuses.

This is why Andy Dalton was available. I said to myself this morning he was due for a stinker game, and here it was.

I like Dalton as a backup; but he's too inconsistent as a starter. If he's the savior some Cowboys fans might have thought before today, then the Bengals would have kept him. He's still only 32.

I'd still like to keep him as a backup, but I agree, not a starter.
