Pure clickbait by Schefter. There’s nothing there saying anything by either camp. Its Schefter talking to talk cause there’s been nothing to talk about.
It’s actually Schefter saying that on TV and some dude named Tyler Conway at the Bleacher Report watching it and writing a story about it... which is even worse.

It is 100% clickbait and I made sure not to fall for it and click.

The Cowboys want Dak. Dak wants to stay with the Cowboys. Dak knows he's not going to be as famous and as popular as he will be with the Cowboys. And, if he wins this franchise a Super Bowl, he never has to worry about work (whether it's as a commentator, a high commodity on the speaker's circuit, business deals, etc.) again in his life.

The Cowboys just want Dak at a certain price. They think he is their franchise quarterback FOR THEIR PRICE!
Outside their price, he is not their franchise quarterback, and they will find another quarterback UNLESS DAK ACCEPTS THEIR PRICE!

Let's stop all this nonsense about Jerry wanting Dak regardless. If he did, Dak would have a contract by now. Jerry may want Dak with the Cowboys, but he doesn't want Dak at Patrick Mahomes money because he doesn't see Dak as that type of franchise player. If Jerry did, Dak would have been signed by now.

Schefter isn’t saying anything either. This has been the same running theme of this situation for months now. He’s just talking to talk.
And yes, don’t click on the clickbait cause there’s no new info.

All talk, he doesn’t deserve top three money and hopefully hires a competent agent this time.

why must you say Haters? NOBODY is a flat out hater, they just have different opinions. That being said, Dak convinced me this year he is clearly the guy for us moving forward. That being said, we cant just sign him to Patrick Mahomes type money. So now its up to the front office and Dak to both be reasonable and come to a deal that works for both sides.

Does it really matter with the usual cast of clueless coaches? No, it still doesn't.

After today's trash performance by Dalton I hope that bus ride is over. Sign Dak and let's build that defense

To compound the misery today. Watching Aaron Rodgers throw another dime is so impressive/depressing at the same time. Imagine having a QB like that in this offense.

Hater tears inbound in 3...2...1...
I think most fans understand If the Cowboys give him the money he is asking for then they are going to have problems with the cap. They will not be able to surround Dak with enough talent.

I think this is a simplistic and idiotic way to look at it.

For one, if Dallas can put together an AVERAGE defense, the Cowboys can win with Dak and the current offense.

Two, the belief that you can just build a team though free agency is a PROVEN way to fail at the NFL level many, many times over.

Three, if you don't have a QB, which Dallas would have to find if Dak is gone, and it is REALLY hard to find a QB, your chances of winning at the NFL level is slim.

So I guess exclude me from "most fans".
