There’s a reason GB cut him loose with what seemed like no remorse from team or fans. No one picked him up the season afterwards. Look at GB every since he left, they are thriving.
He says he followed NFL football his off season but that does not necessarily make you a better coach. He’s made some bad decisions this year for a veteran h coach including his DC pick. It looks as though the game has passed him by and Jerry and his cryfest interview for the job was a farce.

He had success there
But I wasn’t a fan of going with an old coach
I believe he had these same in game decision mistakes there
A coach needs someone helping him with those decisions but some don’t want or like advice
I wanted Ruhle but MM is here at the minimum one more year if for no ther reason, the money

I was not a part of the Big Mac pom pom group before today regardless of the 3 previous wins.
Not a fan of Mac since day one and still believe he rode Rodgers coat tails.

Extending Moore as OC to next year and beyond confirmed my belief that he may be Jerry's next Garrett part II if things go south next year.

I fully expect things to go south next year as well.
Not a believer in the whole return of Dak, return of injured and no more covid changing much of anything.

Be ready to read all the next year will be different drivel.

Next year will be no different.
I can sum it up in a few words to those who will seem so confused by the lack of success next year.


I couldn't have said things it any better had I a full hour to prepare it!!!

Terrible. With all that on the line MM choked on that call or lack of a call. It killed us. That, CDs drop and the refs giving NY the fumble.

Meat head McCarthy is a dummy . I don’t understand how we don’t have coaches seeing replays and telling him when to challenge . I guess advanced analytics is him craning his gargantuan meathead staring at the sky at the replay screen .
I never thought I’d hate a coach as much as I did Garett yet here we are .

This needs to be bumped up to the top and should be made into a sticky thread. The incompetence of the Head Coach shouldn't be forgiven or forgotten until he has been sacked.

How can anyone be looking forward to next season with this bonehead in place?

With playoffs riding on this game, you do anything to win. Bad move coach, you might get fired.

He ISN'T getting fired. We just need to live with subpar coaching and hope it works.

I won't fall victim to the annual offseason optimism sales pitch that will surely be paraded. The excuse crowd's steadfast defense of him because of Covid and injuries disgusts me.

He is poor at his job.

Period.

He was staring at the same replay on the stadium screen that we all saw. He didn't need anyone from the booth to tell him anything unless he needs glasses. Close = challenge flag in that situation 100% of the time.

Yeah, I'm a Dak homer. Yeah, I didn't have a problem with the McCarthy hire last year. No, I don't think Jerry is an idiot.

Fire McCarthy right now. Like, immediately.

I'll guarantee you this: If we didn't like the no challenge flag, Jerry didn't like it, either. I hope it made him angry enough to cut McCarthy loose.

The play was shown several times on the jumbotron. Unless he didn't understand the rule, failure to challenge was inexcusable. He had to have seen the play multiple times and just brain farted. I would have fired him immediately after the game.
