Where are all the people that wanted to throw a parade after learning of the Moore contract extension? Yesterday he was a genius that we couldn’t live without. Many were “so happy” he was signed. Today he reminded us of the genius he is. Especially in the red zone.
1st and goal from the 7 yard line and the genius somehow forgets how to call a run play.
I'm here. Kellen can call the plays, but he cant execute for the sorry players. Zeke was a no show. Wr's had dropsy. O-line couldn't block. Defense was a yoyo. Up and down. And if mac challenges one call, we win. 2020's a wrap. Sunset ended the turkey/whitetail deer season. Disappointing season for everyone.

The fact that this offense was 12th in yards and 16th in points is pretty remarkable considering they lost almost the whole oline and starting QB. We forget what a bad hand he was dealing with and made it respectable for the most part.

I agree that some of Moore's calls are puzzling at times. It seems he's trying too hard to outsmart the defense, with lower percentage calls on 3rd down or red zone. The fact that many times in the 3rd and 2 to 5 range we run an empty backfield seems crazy. I miss being able to lineup 3rd and 4 and get a rushing first down. Everyone knows our tendency is to pass in those situations. Maybe It's a product of our backup oline, but we need to mix it up more. No complaints with 3rd and long situations for the most part.

I’m a fan. And don't lake today on the OC, either.

Me too. We were missing six starters on offense, on the road in bad weather and playing a defense that is 10th in points allowed.

If someone thinks Kellen Moore was the problem this year - or today - they are mistaken.

I love these replies with all the qualifiers...we didn’t have this or that...everything you noted is irrelevant: it was first and goal from the 7 and he goes with an empty backfield. Period. He simplified it for their D with no running threat or blockers or option for swing passes. He gets cute and does stupid stuff in the red zone. Consistently. And while the rest of the NFL runs passing schemes based on picks and quick hitters he runs Garrett’s 1990 passing scheme with basic long developing pass plays. Thats why Dak spends half his time scrambling because these simple schemes are covered. Yes, KM and his Garrett 2.0 passing game and red zone cuteness and poor feel for the running game are huge problems. How many times does the running game start clicking when he then goes away from it. And screw his offensive stats against bad teams that don’t tell the whole story. Boise State won.

Kellen didn’t call plays called “Dalton miss open receivers”

and he didn’t call that first and goal play which said “hey Steele, don’t even attempt to block the DE and give him a free lane to the QB”

I'm a Moore fan.

Every football fan in America thinks they can call plays better than their teams OC. They are all experts.

It's comical really.
