Still cracks me up how Garrett ditched the run today so a bad, gimpy, turnover prone QB could constantly pass.

MM is definitely worthy of criticism. I thought when he was hired he may be more of a standup guy when it came to admitting mistakes, but he makes excuses and offers justifications.

Just more of the same from JJ and the Good Ship Lollipop... status quo, continuity, excuses, false hope, and snake oil.

When the people running your organization don’t value defense nor understand it’s importance, this is what you get. This team has had 8 defensive coordinators running I don’t know how many schemes in 21 seasons. They change defensive schemes like it’s dirty laundry. It’s kind ok like a kid changing schools every year. It’s not good for the kid to be moved around like that. Same with defensive schemes and coordinators.

Building a quality defense starts with knowing what kind of defense you’re trying to be so you can build and draft to that vision. I’m hard pressed to know what kind of defense they’re trying to build here. The draft picks don’t always align to any particular defensive philosophy. And it shows.

This team hasn’t had a really good, consistent defense in a very long time.

Robert, over the last 5 drafts the Cowboys have had 15 picks (including Amari Cooper) in the first two days. They've used 9 of those 15 picks on defense.

They've tried to build defensively. They just can't evaluate talent.

KRichard is another.
