Well with all due respect, Dalton was hired to be a backup... right? He is what he always has been. Anyone who thought differently got fooled.

Look at his biggest fan on here. The same guy who said Beathard and Kaaya would be better than Mahomes and Watson.
In Losing key games. What do you thinkwho? Romo? or Dak? who keep the team competitive? you seriously comparing Dak to Romo and Dak? really...seriously
He’s a serviceable backup but that about it, he has absolutely no “it” factor whatsoever and probably couldn’t lead Girl Scouts to a front door. Winner in life but a complete dud on the field
but they led the team to playoffs, despite short comings in many other areas. they beat winning teams. they kept the team competitive. they didn't fold like a cheap walmart lawn chair. In Losing key games. What do you think
He's played one team with a winning record, and he's 0-1 in that one game.
He has 4 wins, but they were to the Vikings, the Niners, the Eagles, and Bengals. Dak at least beat the Rams and the Eagles last year... teams that had a winning record.
Ya, that reminded me of the Crayton drop Romo had to endure. Not for nothing, but Lamb dropped that possible go ahead TD at the 10. Hit him right in the hands. What else can you ask for?
Seeing the excuses hes getting from his fan club are also incredible.
Yep. I remember laughing at those who said there wasn't a drop off from Dak to Dalton.Well with all due respect, Dalton was hired to be a backup... right?
Losing key games are key games, that holds for the playoffs.but they led the team to playoffs, despite short comings in many other areas. they beat winning teams. they kept the team competitive. they didn't fold like a cheap walmart lawn chair.
Dalton has been average at best during his career, with the biggest issue with him is folding when it counts the most, having some of his absolute worst performances when it counts. he has had his 4 worst performances in his playoff games and was 1-12 in games that mattered...now 1-13.
yesterday he couldn't hit side of a barn in the first half. he couldn't even hit his usual dink and dunk throws. he made all the wrong reads and he held on to the ball way way too long at times leading to sacks....and his last throw was awful, plain bad for a veteran QB...as soon as he threw the ball, I saw 6 blue jersey's in the end zone and my immediate thought was why? why throw a floating duck when you see 6 blue jerseys' in the end zone and only two cowboys players....
in the end, Dalton couldn't beat any starting QBs in the league......
and now, having seen first hand, I am not sure he is even the answer to back up QB spot, if all he is able to do is beat 4-11 teams playing their back up QBs....a back up should be capable of keeping the team competitive, against average and good teams...he was never able to do that....
keeping Dalton is a mistake even as a back up....we could at least keep a low round draft developmental player. Dalton is not even developmental and there is no upside.

So he reminds everyone of Dak and Romo, big game failures. Cow-girl Roy where are all your excuses you use for Dak ?LOL...........the guy never ceases to amaze. Just a few minutes ago he declared that he won the Dalton vs Dak debate after watching Dalton curl up in a ball yesterday with the game losing pick in the endzone.
How did Dak do against the Eagles when the division was on the line? How did he do against NE or NO? Just stop already.
