Say what you want about Garrettm but I liked him as our coach and I wouldn't have fired him last season.
His last 6 seasons as our coach he won 9.3 games per season, players loved him, the coaching staff was very stable and we played competitive football with him.
Under Mike McCarthy we are looking like the Dave Campo team. I'll always root for JG, he is not only a good football mind, he is also a good guy.

I guess he proved us wrong by having the second-worst offense in the NFL this season.

Kidding aside, I think Garrett is an OK walk-around coach. It's his offensive coordination that needs to be junked. He held tight to his system while here and didn't give enough attention to the defensive side of the ball to make up for what his offensive philosopy lacks.

I said this last year when people told me Garrett would never get a head coaching job again...most people in sports know Garrett did a good job knowing he had to deal with meddling Jerry and Stephen. I don’t know if he gets this job but he’s gonna get a chance to head coach somewhere..and I would be shocked if he didn’t have at least moderate success.

If you took a poll here and asked if Garrett had a winning or losing record as Cowboys HC about 90% would say he had a losing record.

He doesn't, which is why he is interviewing and will get a second job. But in fairness, a big part of that is because its a small talent pool and colleges are paying crazy money to keep the good ones in college.

I actually would want him to go there and do well just to see Jerry's reaction.

Hes out in the afc west potentially, don't care if he makes em a winner.

Right, just like he ruined Romo and Prescott right?
I said career! Romo didn't win a damn thing with Garrett and neither did Dak. Good thing he was gone early in Dak's career, giving hi a chance.

yes they have to interview clappers now too. :muttley:

Gee are you going to start to call packers coach Matt LaFleur the clapper because I saw him Sunday clapping as the offense was coming off the field while the punt team was going on. There have been MANY coaches that clapped as a means to get the player's attention as they come off the field meant as come guys we can get this or meaning this isn't acceptable. When I was in high school the defensive coach clapped all the time but nobody on the team or other students that did play or even adults watching the games didn't call him the clapper because they understood why he was clapping. It's not saying much about some people here when high school kids can figure out what the capping is about but some here can't. I don't care one way or another where Garrett ends up, but to make a big deal about him clapping is just juvenile.

Where did Garrett’s offense rank this year? With no ‘Jerry meddling’.
