why the commotion? so what about pittsburgh sitting 40% of their starters in game where the browns needed win to get in which cost another team chance at the playoffs? they habded pas to the browns who barely beat Pbs backup team..hows that different??

happens every year where 1-2 teams sit players week 17 and gives another team an easy win which sometimes leads to playoff berth,,

the browns did not earn their berth while MIA had to play Bills full Playoff team , thats fair?

it happens stop all the crying..Pederson allowed to give huis backup some work and some minutes in the final game, they do it in HS and Collège to get players snaps who havent seen the field. Ever see Rudy? its actually true life i played sports they did this to get seniors letters etc ..

they didnt tank per sey they decided to play more players and well lost because of it..

do we not remember when we were upset the DC played starters when nth eagles didnt and won what 9-6 week 17 and lost draft stock and said Dak should have not played etc etc

whats the difference? a lot of fans here wanted us to play nooch the last 6 games to tank.we didnt now one quarter the eagles pull hurts and play sudfeld and all heck breaks loose..

this is pretty standard week 17 antics..

So let me get this straight: the plan was to take a lead in the second half, to make it look good, let the WFT score (but make them run several plays to do it), then have Hurts fail on 4th and goal. Then in the 4th quarter of a meaningless game (Giants are not your problem), put the in back up QB to complete the tank...just make it look good first.

If the Eagles were good enough to manipulate games that way they would've won more than 4 of them.

Hurts had the best chance of winning that game as he had already run for 2 td's and was running all over the place. He's pissed and so are the rest of the team. Kelce has yet to speak publicly because he's so upset. They know the tank was ordered. You attacked me for being a mind reader yet you just did the same thing.

they both have potential and will develop. I wanted hurts in the 3rd/4th round last year as daks backup/ future replacement and he was taken a bit earl IMHO..i think he will be solid starter

not every players come our of college ready to play..

Just imagine the uproar if dallas had beat the giants, and then phil loses like that lol.
people I know would have said phil hates dallas, but now I guess they hate the giants ?

I think phil probably did tank, or not want to win, there is a big difference between 6 and 9, that is in all 7 rounds.
The Nfl should address this to try to discourage teams from losing on purpose just for better draft spot.
The reason is it isnt fair to tv fans, networks, or if any fans are at the game , really not fair to them.

this isnt the same as a team not playing starters, because they have a playoff game the next week.
With that as long as it is stated in advance, then everyone knows they may not win due to this.

Why is that? Because your QB evaluations are so spot on and 100 percent accurate? News flash friend. You wanted to trade the farm for Tua last season. Hes hot GARBAGE. He looks bad at almost everything a QB is supposed to look good at. Id venture to say hes out of the league in 5 years.

Nobody is 100% accurate. Not even the supposed best who do it for a living who have way more access to players and film than I do.
