As well he should be. A young coach needs a grizzled yet steady veteran hand on the wheel as they learn the ropes. Props to Garrett being the mentor his team needed.

I wonder how charger fans feel about JG being their new HC??
I wonder if giants fans want him to stay or go ??

I will say this, was never a JG fan, but he out did boy genius kellen in that last game. and really the first game too.
I am disappointed kellen didnt go to boise.

JG is the QB whisperer in my book. . elevates the talent of a young QB to the levels he never would have imagined. And achieve the glory and success only legends conquer. Justin Herbert is eagerly anticipating receiving the light and knowledge of this great sage. The clapping is an added extra bonus to the young protege that will instill the confidence and positive energy required to reach this coveted level of achievement.

reading the tea leaves. Judge does not want Garrett as he feels with garrett there he’s a lame duck coach. Gettleman wants Garrett to be future head coach, he would have hired him had the cowboys not drug out the not bringing him back.

Well, the answer is obvious. The Giants should fire Judge and make Garrett the head coach.
Barring that, the Giants could just match whatever the Chargers are willing to pay Garrett with a wink that he will be the HC soon. Look how great that worked out for the Cowboys.

Some people just interview really well but absolutely stink once on the job. But they sure can talk a good game.

They taught him that trick at Princeton.

Isn't setting up the coaching staff the head coach's job ? I mean on every well run NFL club , which obviously eliminates the Dallas Joneses.................

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if JG's dalliance with the Chargers is a negotiating ploy on JG's part. He'll either get a raise with the Giants or otherwise, become the HC of either team. It's surely much better than possibly being canned as the Giants' OC. Why, in heck, Gettleman would be so upset about losing such an unsuccessful OC is a bit puzzling. Anyway, it might be intriguing to see how such an odd scenario plays out. o_O
