Dallas can do that if you're ok with another bad season. I don't expect anything from Dallas next year, so I'm ok with it. But this D is too bad to fix with one draft.
our defense was average at best and the indicisions by the defensive staff, being on different pages, etc. created a lot of frustrations among players in 2019. Mike Nolan wanting to instill "his" defense without a true off season was asinine, trying to make Lawrence and Griffin into stand up 3-4 ends was a disaster and the season started horribly. now a new DC, a new scheme. we need to evaluate what we have, use draft to bolster defense, before signing any FA, if we feel that we need 7 starters.....you fill the team through draft, and fill a gap or two through FA...we can't fill 7 gaps through FA. I totally oppose that...

and we don't need to build a top 5 defense. to go from 36 pts a game, historically bad defense to truly average would be a huge leap and great contributor to the team. not giving up 200 yards rushing per game...5 times.....that's improvement.

Yep, McClay will take a reserve who barely played for a really bad Jets or Jaguars team and make him a millionaire.

Fan Boys will claim it as a really good signing.

Historians will remember how Mackenzy Bernadeau, Benson Mayowa, Darian Thompson, and Maurice Canady were/are all JAGs.

Our only hope is that Jerry continues to feel the clock is ticking and abandons the cheap & fake clever approach to free agency and tries, you know, something crazy, like actually improving the roster.
Your asking way too much from Jerry, lol.
