What's shocking to me is how many don't realize or just don't want to admit that tanking happens. Many teams pull their starters in meaningless games. Been happening for years upon years.
All bad teams pull starters and play youngsters. You'd first have to prove that the coach believed Hurts was a better option. Since he'd been playing like crapp, that would be hard to do.
Who knows. All I know is a backup QB threw 35% a pick and 72 yards and the league is shocked he was benched lol. He was struggling, personally I expected more out of Sudfeld than what he showed.
They really like Sudfeld. Enough to keep him around for what, 4 years now? Remember, he came into the season above Hurts on the depth chart. Both came in as backups and both played like backups.
