Christian Barmore at 10

I believe Barmore would be more of a luxury pick at this juncture. He is more of a one dimensional interior rusher at this time. Team needs help to stop the run and already have two prospects with a similar skill set in the roster.

Who is similiar to barmore? I know you not talking about Hill.

I’m in with the idea this team needs 2 more DTs to pair with Gallimore and Woods. A youngster and a vet would be best. Barmore or Nixon in the 1st and the TCU safety in the 2nd. Also a competent DC.

You may not like either Hill or Gallimore, but they were high draft picks at the position. They will be given every opportunity to succeed.

Hill is now 3 defensive coaching staffs since the 1 that drafted him, has showed very little, and is coming off an ACL tear.

Neville Gallimore was a mid 3rd round pick

If our front office isn’t attempting to bring in an impact player at 3 tech because Hill and Gallimore are on the roster then we are indeed doomed as a franchise.

They aren’t giving up on either player, but both wouldn’t prevent them from taking another if the right player becomes available.

Don't draft a DT in the 1st round unless you trade all the way back to the late 20's, because there is not one guy worth the pick.

I’d say no. None of this class of DTs looks to be worthy of a top 10 pick. Especially since a lot of these guys sat out this year. But I believe this could be a blessing in disguise if those big boys didn’t spend the whole year sitting in a bean bag eating Cheetos.

I say pick the best defensive player available at 10. That would most likely be Surtain or Farley. Then we should double dip the DTs. Best athletic tackle available first. I like Jay Tofele better than Barmore, but that’s just from the film I’ve seen. He could play nose but is more of a 3 tech. That McNeil kid is interesting. He started out as a linebacker and just got bigger. He reminds me of a John Randle type. Marvin Wilson would be the only big NT I’d consider with a 2nd round pick

We really need to address FS in the 2nd or 3rd round. Cisco or Moerig would be great in the 2nd or 3rd round.

The big fat NTs will probably be available in rounds 4-6. Bobby Brown from A&M might be available in the 5th or 6th round. They say this draft is weak on DTs, but I think there is just a bunch of decent unproven talent in the middle to latter rounds and we should take at least two DTs in this draft. Maybe even three.

We have to shore up the middle of the d line and it seems we are committed to the Defensive ends we already have. Lawrence is a full time starter and Armstrong backs him up. I don’t like Armstrong at all, but the coach’s seem to. Randy Gregory seems to be the real deal as long as they don’t test him for pot any more. Aldon Smith is decent but he may or may not stick around. I don’t see why he would if he will have to slit time with Gregory. Bradlee Anae is as good or better as any DE we would pick up in latter rounds. I’d rather see Anae split time with Gregory. Anae is more of a back side end anyway.

no thanks, not at 10. I'd say he'll be lucky to be a rd 1 selection.
Dallas needs better DT's for sure, but they need better run stuffing DT's instead of more than pass rushing DT's.

I"d consider him with our 2nd round pick...def not with our first.

I might even consider moving into the late 1st. I like the player alot, I think he can be a force. Just not rounded enough for 10 right now.

Alot depends on the system too. I value him more if we stick with a multiple front scheme. I think we can attack from many different gaps. A full time even front, I still like him but not as much

IMO only about 20 or so sure 1st rounders. Bunch of 2nd’s then on to the rest. We need to make sure we get one of them at 10.

Barmore has shown up this national championship game pretty big. Really disrupting the Ohio st offense

He’s looked tremendous. Powerful and athletic.

Yeah, the thought that he can’t play the run seems to be false. He would also instantly become the top interior rusher on this team. He may end up top 15 after this game.

If they signed Sherman at CB I’d be okay with drafting Barmore at 10.
