Bad news for you Cowboys fans. You needed the Eagles to keep this bum. They might actually stumble upon a good coach

Whoever they get, I doubt if they will be able to stop Dak to CeeDee though

CeeDee is the ONLY reason why I want Dak to remain a Cowboy. 1,500 - 1,700 yard season in his near future! Book it W/ Dak...Maybe he hits 2G? Michael was capable of hitting that mark. Troy wasn’t though

Yea.....pretty much saw that coming after he gift wrapped that game to Washington. Mutiny was next.
Almost look like he wanted to get fired. If he did....it worked like a charm.

It's unfortunate. I think he is a pretty good coach. Maybe not in the top tier but far above most. Including Fat Garrett. By a mile.

I have respected Lurie and Roseman's Eagle leadership in the past and they now face another major future impacting decision with the selection of a new HC. And this coming after relieving their franchise QB of his duties already. They accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time after the firing of Chip Kelly a few years back. It will be interesting to see how pro active they are and the results achieved.

The GM and owner continue to get the same criticisms - they overstep. Not entirely sure why people criticize Jerry and Stephen but in the same breath say the owner of the Eagles is right for screwing over Pederson.

Rumor is Pederson told them he wanted the control over his staff or he is out. If he intentionally did tank (I don't think he did), that would be the ultimate **.

It clearly came down to Wentz or Pederson and like the tweet stated, much easier to move on from a coach

They chose to concede the battle to public perception rather than showing a rare case of loyalty towards their coach.

Pretty surprised at first, I thought Pederson was going to get one more year.

But when I thought about it, it makes sense. The termination tells me he was as much of a lame duck as I thought he might be, and Lurie had no desire dealing with that going into another season.

I'm pretty sure if Pederson stayed for next season that it was going to get ugly. Shame, we won't get to see it!

I agree that it is whack they he gets fired after winning them their only SB.

The one thing I will say about the SB is... he got a Hostetler run out of Foles.
