Now that we have Dan Quinn one of the engineers from the dominate Legion Of Boom Defensive patrol , what would it take for us to have our own version of the Legion of Boom Defense ?

what positions and elements are we still missing to eventually make our case for a Legion of Boom
Defense ?

Dallas? Legion of Boom defense? Pfff.... pfff.... BAHAHAHAHA :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:. Ain’t no WAY. Only in Jerry’s most promiscuous dreams will that ever happen. Our players wouldn’t even belong on the bench the Legion of Boom sat on. Nothing will make our defense “Legion of Boom” unless you put an actual bomb on field.

First step: A deep talented DLine rotation w/ a stud at NT.

That Legion of Boom was made possible Mebane, Tony McDaniel, Clinton McDonald at DT and Red Bryant, Avril, Mike Bennett and Chris Clemons at DE. That's 7 starter quality players for 4 positions. The D was not the same when they started letting those guys walk.

It would take a few years of very good drafting to get to the Legion of Boom. For next year, I would be good with the "Legion of not getting destroyed and getting a few turnovers to help our offense." Or maybe "The Assembly of Average Defense?"

McClay, Jerry, and Stephen saw first hand this season how badly this FO overrated their personnel on defense.

Better believe the biggest off-season priority is to surround Quinn with guys that can play ball.

I will Walt and see what happens on the field.
Not over hyped but not complaining either.

much depends on what they do with any current players, getting FA’s and the draft.
Even then I will not be one way or the other until I see it. Not drinking the kool aid or eating the cheese, nor am getting out the .
Will wait until about game 5. See where they are then.

We're a few years of drafting and developing from getting there, and due to the salary cap and draft limitations you probably won't still have this kind of offense by the time you've built a defense that good. They were great at every level and very deep on the DL with multiple possible hall of famers. We don't need to be historically ranking on defense to win with this offense.

But we do have a few guys I think we can build around, like DLaw, Diggs, Gregory, maybe Gallimore.

Plus maybe Dan Quinn and his staff make our current players better on the practice field. The message all year from the locker room has been that this defensive staff just can't teach.

We're gonna get back to roles that our defenders know how to play, and maybe we'll have better teachers. We've also got good draft capital and I'm one who believes Will McClay is good at drafting. Last year we were top half on defense, I think Quinn can get us back there, and I think that's enough for this offense to make some real noise next January.

Sure, we can have the Legion of Boom if we replace about 9 more players on defense and half of them need to be Pro Bowlers, a couple All Pro’s and the rest should be average to above average at least.

It would start with bringing in Pete Carroll since he's the architect behind the Legion of Boom.
