Next year is his 3rd year. Were still waiting for him to mature physically? How long does it take nfl lineman to mature? In year 3 he should be what he will be in his career. Should we wait until his contract year for his heartless *** to play well?

He won't even be 23 until March.. You can't rush Father Time.. well you can but you get suspended if you get caught. I thought the kid was coming on when he got hurt. He was the one interior lineman who flashed into the backfield on occasion. Maybe it was big fish small pond syndrome because the others never did but he made a few plays that got my attention. And you can't possibly think that this past offseason was anything remotely resembling "normal." So Hill's "second year jump" from having a full year in an NFL weight and nutrition program will be delayed a year. It is what it is.. You don't like him, fine.. I am less inclined to throw dirt on guys than that. Our coaching issues have wasted a lot of guys.. Let's hope he's not another one of them.

They did draft 1T Joey Ivie in 7th round 2017 and a 3T Jordan Carrell in the same round that year. Marinelli just kept rolling snake eyes.
Saying Joey Ivie was a 1T is like saying golf’s a sport. Not true.

Same draft as we took Zack Martin.

Dallas loved Donald.

As much as I love Martin as a player and he is a likely HOF guy, he isn't much of a difference maker right now.

Instead of moving up a few slots, which would cost maybe a 3rd, or a 3rd and a 5th.....they don't do it.

Probably because they were completely burned on Claiborne.

They used to kind of go for things back then (which was sign a high priced corner and deal up for another to fit the scheme of the DC they fired a few months later, but.....). Not so much anymore. Its draft and bargain bin.

Seems to coincide with the influence of the kid.

I don't know that we are any better in any kind of way by thinking things get better when Jerry is gone.

If we've tasted that "secret sauce" yet, it ain't very good.

Mind you if I worked for the local media, I would bring up that term at every opportunity....and I also would no longer have a job.

That answers plenty as to why Jerry gets away with what he does.
They actually did try to move up for Donald but the Rams refused to play because they wanted Donald...

Did you miss the difference in the OL play when Martin was hurt? Martin still has a big impact.

I wish the cowboys would make a trade offer to the jets for quinnen Williams but it likely won't happen. There will likely be four or five
Good one tech prospects still available in the middle rounds of the draft.
I hope the cowboys draft one. Hell I wouldn't mind if they drafted two

INDY just stuffed BUFF's 3rd and 1 attempt, and is now on a long drive and inside the 5. You absolutely MUST be able to stop teams on 3rd down, and it starts w/ being dominant up front. If you don't have quality DT's, it just doesn't matter all that much what else you have on D.
Dallas needs to get a good 350 pound nose tackle

Philly had quality, dominant DTs and won 4 games. Had Philly drafted Lamb and Diggs (hypothetical, I know Dallas drafted higher) they would still be playing this weekend.

Yes, you need quality DTs and quality players to score points and cover and rush the edge. Not as simple as just get some DTs and everything is good.

Can we just have Vince Wilfork? Okay, we'll take 2...

Okay, I have Ware, Suh, Wilfork, and Reggie White.

That's my front 4.

In the 3, 4, I'd just add LT opposite Ware...

Ware, Suh, Wilfork, White, LT

^^ Good luck...

Funny thing, I don't remember saying(or anyone else) that all it takes is DT's. Where did you get this idea?

Honestly I think between Hill and Gallimore we are set at 3-tech. We still need a 350 pound pocket cruncher though.

Well my Aunt Concha is a little long on the tooth, but she can't be moved once she digs in. Hard to get around her too, especially at the Thanksgiving table. Not great lateral speed, but when she plows forward, ain't nothing stopping her. I can see her collapsing that pocket. Speaking of pockets, she can eat a whole box of those suckers on one sitting. i'll ask her.
