If he is there at 10 can you say no?
I know we have LVE and Jaylon but Parsons is an animal.

I like him at 10 more than I did when we were top five. Still not crazy about him. I never have like the idea of taking off-the-ball LBs that high.

Pass.

We've already seen this show. Jaylon has speed and size, but little football vision and instinct. That's the exact same story w/Parsons.

And both get eaten alive in pass coverage.

I pass. Our LB core has proved that they can be a top unit in the right system.

Not long ago Jaylon Smith and LVE were both Pro Bowlers and had a monster season when healthy and in the right system.

LB is a need with Lee likely retiring and LVE always injured but in the Top 10 is to heavy for me.

If we trade down in the Low Teens or early 20s i might take him if still available but i rather get a LB in the Midrounds. LB is often a deep class with lots of talent in the middle rounds.

Wondering if all the parsons instinct talk or maturity issues are pre draft rumors to have his stock fall like others in previous years.

if these are true insights his stock is going to fall

His tape is really good. I’d like to see what he could do when someone actually tried to block him though.

When LB’s like Bobby Wagner and Darius Leonard can be found in the 2nd round, I’m not sure how I feel about taking a LB with a top 10 pick - especially after LVE.

It’s always strange when I hear this rationale trotted out.

You can literally find examples of HOF type players at every position taken at spots outside of the 1st round. That shouldn’t somehow mean you don’t have to draft those positions in the 1st round.

Zero concerns around instincts...they are a +.

Team needs to take a deep dive on maturity stuff. If there is a legit concern there pass.
