bring WADE in as an adviser..ie QUALITY CONTROL guy for the D. That would be the only capacity I want to see him in at his age.

You're confusing things. It wasn't that the Cowboys wanted Phillips to come back, it was Phillips sad he would come back. Phillips saying he would come back in no way gives anyone any idea that the Cowboys were looking for the type of defense that Phillips uses.

so and? they interview and hired the one they felt best at this juncture.,.i really didnt care who they hired because as well all know it FA and the draft that will determine how ell the defense rebounds..we need players..so the first order of business is who they retain or let walk off the defense , then who they get in FA and lastly fill the holes with the draft..

they know what mistakes were made and started cleaning house at the bye and im sure will dig a little deeper to make better choices..

all i want to see is improvement if we can simply move out of the bottom 5 in defense to middle of the pack with our offense this will be successful move..

Wade openly campaigns for every DC job. I don't have a problem with it, but Werder sounds like he is implying this was some special case.

With a smaller cap for 2021 don't hold your breath that any starting free agents will get signed. Not with the amount of contracts that will already count against that smaller cap.

On all the lists produced last week as to possible DC's Wade's name was down.
2 questions-Did he want to come back? and was he under consideration with the Cowboys to come back?
