So— we hired the “mastermind” behind Atlanta’s worst rated pass D?! Awesome. We couldn’t stop the run in 2020– now we won’t be able to break up a pass in 2021 lol

Does anyone that works for the Cowboys EVER have to actually earn anything?! This team is an absolute clown show— fitting as we have a PT Barnum type owner selling this product off as if it were an actual competent football operation...

I can already see the smoke from the train wreck next year smdh

In 2017 the Falcons rated 8th in pass defense and a vast number of tackles were made by two guys, Deion Jones and SS Keanu Neal. I think the two had 254 tackles between them.
In 2018 they lost both of them (KN for the year, Deion for most of it) and the defense tanked. My recollection these were not the only injuries, as Atlanta's best cornerback was often
injured during this period.

I didn't pay much attention to ATL's secondary to be honest, but they had a lot of rookies and 2nd string talent in play in 2018-2020. My two cents is DQ needs a good SS as a DB anchor.

I didnt want any of the Atlanta staff but again

the defense cant get any worse

I will take any change knowing that if next year is a farce, JJ will wipe out the entire staff and start over - again.

I don't like that last word, but I'll throw whatever at the window if it sticks compared to our defensive performance this year.
