It is about hiring people you can trust to run the different aspects of your team. Jimmy Johnson brought damn near the entire Hurrican coaching staff with him when he was hired as HC. You want people you know and trust. That happens in most aspects of life
Nepotism is why this team sucks. Jimmy johnson brought over a national championship winning staff. These guys suck

Jimmy who i liked benefited from the worse trade in NFL history. I'm not sure jimmy in his prime could succeed in this era of salary cap and now that jerry has progressed in stupidity. That's 1 think Jimmy did well and so did Parcells either camouflaged or limit Jerrys ability to screw things up. No one has since.

You say what you will but these c9aches sucked before they got here and were not a part of a winning program

Oh no I’m not debating that just pointing pointing out I doubt jimmy at his best could be successful here now.

these recent hires are a joke IMO and further solidifies the stupidity of this front office

When the Cowboys announce it, then it's believable. Can't tell you how many times an announcement with "a source" turned out to be wrong. If it really is a done deal they would have used a name and not "a source". If it does turn out to be true, fine, but I'm still waiting for an announcement from the Cowboys.

You can trust my sources bro.

Fact is yall wanted Jerry to let his coach assemble the staff. Unfortunately we are now concerned our coach might be an incompetent moron. Nonetheless the overwhelming narrative that Jerry is forcing together his own Frankenstein seems to be debunked. So I guess that's good.

@Gimmetheball will be happy since we obviously followed the Rooney rule.

All is well with the world if you do that!

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. Just another hire for me until proven other wise. I mean this guy doesn't have that great of a track record. imo. Hopefully though they are now trying to bring in good coaches versus friends. But wasn't this guy a McCarthy guy?????

Good hire......Joe brings a lot of secondary experience to the table. He's work with MM and Quinn, so it's a good fit.

Hopefully he will be like Campo and say “Don’t be looking back for the ball”. That’s coaching greatness at its finest!

Maybe they want one coach per player. No cap on coaching salaries. It's another win for Jerry...
Hopefully every personal coach will be coaching players to act individually, instead of a unit. That’s the last thing offenses will be expecting. DBs lining up at DT and DTs playing at corner. That’s will REALLY confuse OCs.

I'm curious to see what happens. Let's hope for a great season this year. I look forward to seeing what these coaches can do.
