Yep. I was perusing Hopkins game log and he has some turd games sprinkled in there as well............. back to back games against Seattle and NE, he had 5 catches for less than 50 yards in both games. When Arizona lost to Miami, he had 3 catches for 30 yards. He had a few other turds in there as well.

People, I guess, assume the elite WRs never have bad games, every game they are going 7-9 catches, 140 and a TD.

thats the problem with ppl only watching cowboys games. They make uneducated comparisons to other players who they don’t even watch their games. Amari compares favorably to any top receiver in this league

Did you not read the rest of the post? That’s the most catches and yards that any receiver got on him all season
In a loss.

That's like saying Zeke Elliott rushed for 57 yards against the Rams, which was the highest total they gave up all year. So what?

The Rams have a good defense, and teams simply don't throw over there much. Pretty much any team could get 7 catches for 57 yards if that was their goal, but they usually go another way. Whoopty freaking do. Perhaps we should have, too. Maybe we win?

Statistical arguments are always so pointless.

did you bother to read that he **** down every number 1 opposing WR? We are paying 70 million to a LB that can’t tackle and are about to pay 40 million/y to a QB who can’t read defenses

And then you see Prescott's interception and completion percentages.

Reading defense has never been a problem and dak always attacks the middle of the field which if you cannot read a defense you cannot do.

There is a reason he struggles under pressure and when the OL does not have 5 first round picks

he waits for receivers to actually come open and does not anticipate

Nice job regurgitating takes from two plus years ago.

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2020/quarterbacks-and-pressure-2019

His last full season he was number one in yards per attempt under pressure and he was number three in dvoa under pressure.

Not only are you wrong but the truth is actually the very opposite of what you claim.

And he's been throwing with timing for two and a half years at this point. as much as he throws over the middle if he was constantly late on throws he'd be throwing pics at a much higher rate than he actually does.

It's like you don't watch the games you have no idea what you're watching.

Yes the year when everyone was telling me the Joey bosa was going to be a bust. Ramsey was my second choice. Then we picked a RB in a very deep running back class.

Another reason to be glad that Garrett is gone. Steven Jones is very emphatically talked about how running back is not a wise investment of premium assets.

You mean like before he got hurt this year? He was on pace to shatter the record for passing yards.
Dak was a top 5 QB and had our offense in the top 5 when he was playing this year. And that was with no run game, no defense and no oline.
He gets hurt and the offense goes to look like garbage.
Ya'll Dak haters are something else. Just say stuff to say it with no FACTS.

Dak was one of the few bright spots on this football team.

Road games.. Stopping on routes.. Horrible body language.

Amari Cooper in 2018 and half of 2019 is what I want to see. He was a game changer and the MVP of our football team.

Probably has to do more with grass. And 2018, it was mainly Dak not being able to find him in zone coverages. Amari disappeared from the Colts game onward.

In Amari’s defense. He wasn’t healthy. He was clearly playing hurt.

Amari Cooper has always carried a stigma because he's got a personality similar to Marvin Harrison. I keep saying this as I am a fan of the kid and have followed his entire career from college to the pros. Harrison is a weirdo who went off the rails. You don't know with these enigmatic types especially when there's issues and they tend to repress. The old saying is "never trust the quiet types " and some people obviously don't care. Cooper has issues in Oakland there's a reason he was traded even though Derek Carr was gung ho about him staying and we ponied up the Bill.

Yes he's a fantastic reciever. But it's okay to be skeptical about a person. At least in my opinion and I am someone who believes you should be who you are. I don't mind rah rah or play do the talking as long as you get it down. Cooper gets it done but he's not Hopkins or Julio Jones no matter what many of you here say. Even when they have their stinkers.

I watch more than just the Cowboys.

Coop has been worth every cent and even the draft slot, easy. He's a quiet kid, nothing wrong with that. He would've had a career year this year had Dak not went down and that was playing with injury. Not every Cowboy player has to be like Michael Irvin or Roger Staubach. We'll take ALL KINDS as long as they perform on the field. Cooper is a good kid. I like him a lot. In a playoff game when the whole team is healthy, I am glad he is on the team.

Dude. Is he? That's the point I like Cooper but I remember hearing people say that same spiel about Marvin Harrison. Praising his play, work ethic, clean family guy image, and him being this stoic assassin on the field. How's that working out? You never really know who these enigmatic types are because it's not just an on the field thing. This is his personality type.

You can project what you want onto these types of people and they can be absolute sociopaths.
