How does a qb that can't read defenses go on pace to break nfl records for passing and had the number one offense in the nfl during the tiem?
I guess it was the OC who everyone says sucks or Jason Garrett who everyone says sucks o_O

Instead of a quiet guy like Coop who gave this team a discount, I wish we had a diva, a true diva.

Someone that is selfish enough to hold out with two years left on their contract while his teammates are practicing in training camp and pre season games, a diva who demands she be paid the highest for her position and refuses to even practice until she gets that contract, a gal who constantly makes the headlines for all the wrong reasons, a gal who gets suspended, a gal who gets called to the principals office in NYC because she can’t behave herself, a grown gal who wears belly shirts like a teenage girl from the 80’s, a gal who carries purses and a gal who treats women like objects.

Where can we find a person like that? Anyone know?

This morning on First Things First they were discussing how Jalen Ramsey shut down almost every top WR he went against this year. With one exception..... His most receptions and yards given up all year was to one Amari Cooper 7 receptions for 57 yards. For as much flack as some of our UNEDUCATED posters give Amari, his stats always somehow line up with the top WRs in the league. We are lucky to have him, and the chemistry he has with Dak.

Cooper is by far our best WR. Speed, route running, hands.

People hate him because he's not a Give Me The Damn Ball extrovert. I find it refreshing in a WR, and I'm sure QBs do too. That's called being QB friendly. Not a PITA.

Yup. It’s always been weird to me presumably grown adults care so much about an athlete’s body language or personality. They’re not your friend or family. If he can ball he can ball

Get open and catch the damn ball. Whether you're TO or Cooper, that's what I care about.

People made way too big a deal about personality with both of them, and Cooper isn't even PITA, he's just an introverted guy who comes off as a little clinically depressed to me in his interviews. People should get off his back.

Ramsey is no doubt a top CB in the league but also keep in mind he has Aaron Donald and Brockers collapsing the pocket on every snap, literally one of the best DTs in history. That def helps.

Ramsey, five-year, $100 million extension with a maximum value of $105 million that keeps Ramsey in L.A. through the 2025 season. The deal also contains a staggering $71.2 million guaranteed at signing.

Yet some Cowboys fans complain how much Dallas players receive or shouldn't receive.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Ramsey is paid because he is one of the best. Paying Dak top money is like giving Anthony Brown Ramsey money.

My words toward Cooper have not been kind.

Realistically, I was very turned off by him from what I saw in 2019, those first few Div II games aside.

However he played very well this past year. He saved 2018 on his own. The trade was worth it overall.

That said, while I'll be happy to have him in 2021, I 100% want to part ways after then, and allocate that money to defense. Anyone who has a fantasy about it becoming much better in one off-season is fooling themselves.

They need several mid round picks to contribute at a very high level immediately if that were to happen. It won't.

It's nice to have many very good WR, but what's the point when the defense is so bad we are home watching today, despite playing in one of the worst divisions in sports history?

He was elite with the Jags too. Every stop he's been elite.

Brockers also isn't anything to write home about anymore. He's an average player.

This...agreed! We'd still have Gallup and Lamb and could draft another in the middle rounds. No way we keep all 3.

Hennessy and I aren't using hindsight though.

And even if Zeke was playing at that level, he wouldn't be half as valuable as what Ramsey brings.
The Cowboys went 13-3 based on Zekes rookie year on his performance.
He carried the offense.

Imagine whet Dak and the reciever corps could do with defenses over accounting to stop Zeke.

Lol can't believe people actually believe that. Crazy. The Cowboys passing attack had the highest EPA/play in the entire league his rookie year. The entire league.

Zeke didn't carry ****

Yes, imagine if they ever did that. But that haven't.

Road games.. Stopping on routes.. Horrible body language.

Amari Cooper in 2018 and half of 2019 is what I want to see. He was a game changer and the MVP of our football team.
Gruden would have never gotten rid of him if he didn’t have these problems along with a questionable motor.

In Amari’s defense. He wasn’t healthy. He was clearly playing hurt.

In 2018, I don’t think it was the injury. The numbers show the difference of a healthy Amari with Dak in zone and in man, against defenses that played lots of man. The Colts played heavy cover 2 and shadowed a lot of help. I believe Tampa did as well and Dak struggled when they doubled Cooper

https://sportsinfosolutionsblog.com...-amari-cooper-face-challenge-with-colts-zone/

Here are Josh Allen’s numbers in his third year against zone coverages in particular.

https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/...ow-the-colts-can-solve-the-josh-allen-riddle/

According to SIS when facing zone coverages (defined in this setting as Cover 2/Cover 3/Cover 4/Cover 6/Tampa 2/Combinations) Allen has completed a higher percent of his throws (71.2%) but his NFL passer rating drops to 95.1. He has also throw for just 11 touchdowns against these coverages, but eight interceptions.

Not sure what the actual yards per catch are, but leaving you to derive your own conclusions. One thing is probably for sure, Josh Allen in year is seeing way more zone coverages, not just man, and is a lot less passive and careful.

Never seen a fanbase so consumed with talking about a player carrying a team.
