They let him walk bc he was due to be paid, but also bc we had Sean Lee, newly 1st Rd draft pick LVE, and hedging their bets with a healthy Jaylon smith.
Three years later.. Sean Lee is considering retirement, Jaylon is overrated and on the verge of being ousted, and LVE can’t stay healthy..smh.
Hitchens isn’t all world, but he constantly puts up 6-7AV year in, year out. Our boys really could have used a “solid” LBers this year
