Trying to win games in garbage time is still padding stats in garbage time, with defenses playing to burn off time and not give up the big play, thus the racking up of garbage time stats.

Yes, you may win, but the chances are slim and rare.

Again those that are Prescott haters refer to trying to win as garbage time and always use the oh the defense is doing this or that but there's one thing they can't explain away is if the defenses are trying to use up clock and prevent big plays why is it that Prescott while still trying to win is able to move the ball so well and score points? If the defense are trying to prevent big plays why did Prescott have so many plays of 15 - 20 or more yards while still trying to win? Why is it that some of the football experts have said that the prevent defenses actually make it easier to move the ball down the field?

Kind of pointless to try and reason with some! If it was TR he would he heralded as incredible by a lot of those same people. The one you quoted especially

Why did time expire and Dak kept losing over and over and over again, outside when Atlanta couldn’t fall on an onside kick?

You would think there are a lot of young black coaches who would fit the bill in Philly. Personally, I don't think Moore is anywhere near ready to be a HC in this league. Why that said let him interview for the gig because I don't think he's all that when it comes to calling plays in this league.

I agree on Moore, but can we leave race out of it?

Most people that aren't Prescott haters realize that a 31st or 32nd defense had a lot to do with that. That defense that could keep any team out of the end zone. That defense was so bad all season until the last couple of weeks that in both of the TWF team and the 1st eagles games they only forced 2 punts for the entire games. Then add in before the last 4 games the Cowboys defense was rated 28th in takeaways. While Prescott was playing they were last on takeaways.

Y'all do realize how ridiculous this "padding the stats" in or out of garbage time is, don't you?

The QB's have coaches calling plays and they're expected to execute those plays.

What could any QB have to gain "padding his stats"? The coaches and players don't have moral victories, only some owners have that. Ever see a coach defend a loss with "we out gained them"? I have a couple of times but I never saw them do that again.

When did I ever say Moore would divulge his secrets? Nevertheless, the Eagles would love to give it a try. Big difference, there. Hey, if they hired him for a boatload of money, he might be more tempted to say more than he would otherwise. Getting a job for big money can easily change things. I'm hoping KM turns them down and stays with Dallas. I think he'd be better off doing so. So far, I haven't heard of him agreeing to talk to them. ;)
HA HA you can be sure, if he gets hired he tells all...

Interesting ... good idea by Philly to at least glean a some info in an interview even if they don't hire him.

That's exactly why they're talking to him. To get inside information on the Cowboys.

I totally agree with you about leaving race out of it, but it has to be addressed. I think there are a few coaches out there who are not white that can run circles around Moore and until these assistant coaches are taken seriously we're going to have more conversations about why Moore jump to the head of the line when it's not warranted.

If a team were to pick Moore, it will be because they believe he is the best person for the job. They are not trying to pick a guy because he is white. To suggest otherwise is just ignorant and dumb.

He’s not a bad OC, but I’m surprised Philly would look to him for their HC position. Moore is still very green.
