You’re Monday morning quarterbacking it with the Oline and I still think Brady gets it done regardless of the OL because I’ve watched him do it his entire career.

He probably plays 16 games and throws 35 TDs here.
LOL. You need to seek help. Brady would have been killed by the 4th game. Im not monday morning QBing anything. Tyron had a neck injury Frederick retired, and Collins was hurt before the season started. So its highly probable they would all be out and Brady would have had Knight and Steele protecting him.

Brady isnt putting up 35 touchdowns with this OL. Not happening. You need to seriously think before you speak. You sound like a child any time someone disagrees with you.

And regardless of if Brady puts up those numbers. Our DEFENCE would have allowed more and he would have been stacking L's just like any team with no defence would. You can put Joe Montana on this team last season and we still finish with the same record. Maybe a couple wins more. This isnt a good football team.

Ben R won multiple SBs, is a pocket QB, can more than adequately do a traditional drop back, meaning he's a true drop back passer that go through his progressions, and was also impossible to bring down and he could throw rockets when going out the pocket.

Dak doesn't even belong in the same sentence as this guy as far as football is concerned.
Ben Rapeburger is a fraud who got by on all time great defenses.

since 2010, in the playoffs ben has thrown for more interceptions than touchdowns with a passer rating lower than Mitch Trubiskys career average

He has been the source going back to the "reliable source" for Werder, that's his function.

The story goes that the Joneses, upon arriving in Dallas, threw a party for the local and regional media because Booger saw the significance of free publicity to help him turn the franchise into the wind. There were some not to kind to to Booger taking over and one particularly critical of Booger's handling of Landry and his irritating personality. His son in overlooking the list mentions this individual and Booger responds "he writes about the Cowboys" and that was that. He learned his lesson that day in how they would use the media.

Early on, a couple of members of the media, Hansen and Bayless, got a little pissed at the way Booger was flagrantly using them and thinking they could be bought with beer and sammiches. They said or wrote unkind things while munching their sammiches and drinking their beer. Hansen got fired by Booger form his stadium gig and Bayless got kicked out of the locker room. It was then they all became aware, they now needed the Cowboys more than the Cowboys needed them.

The first born lucky sperm has been the source since the Cowboys installed one.
Jerry cleaned house and he didnt give a rats *** about Laundrys legacy.

I’m glad you know how Brady would’ve done here..

Just like last year when all of you told me he was finished.

Its amazing how clever PR wording can make things sound better.

Pessimists Translation:

He can't put his full weight on his damaged leg even though we're now 3 months after the injury. He can't run yet. He can't throw a NFL pass. He can't do anything too dynamic with the leg.
He’s walking, first words of Ian’s quote.

I never said he was finished.
You’re still wrong trying to be right and you look like an absolute buffoon.

You just said how Brady would do here.

I say my opinion and you say “ glad you know how he would have done” like I was the first one to do it. LOL are you 6 years old?

I simply said he wouldn’t have done well because our OL would have got him killed. Which isn’t exactly a crazy thing to say. You saying a 40 year old immobile QB would have thrown for 35 touchdowns behind this OL is a lot crazier.

You calling me out like I'm an idiot for saying how I think Brady would have done here, after you make a proclamation of how he would have done here is laughable and shows you really aren't too bright.

You cant call someone out for doing the exact same thing you just did but with a different opinion that doesn't match yours. lol. I am amazed at how far you're willing to take things.

No..

I wanted 2 years of Brady then get out of paying a QB.

I'd rather have had Brady this year and next year then Dak for the rest of his career at his price tag.

I would've pushed all my chips in to the center of the table like Tampa is doing rather than doing whatever it takes to remain mediocre year after year.

Absolutely.

Let's keep this easy and even and say 4 years 160 M.

Year 1 you hand him 50M SB.
12.5M cap hit each of those 4 years.
plus the yearly base.
year 1. 5M base cap hit 17.5M
year 2. 25m base cap hit 37.5M
year 3. 30M base cap hit 42.5M
This is ALL GTD. 110M GTD

----------------------- at this point you either extend Dak or release him.
but maybe you play it out 1 year for some crazy reason.

year 4 50m base cap hit 62.5M, dead money if released? 12.5M
And with that 50M base you have your SB number again ready to extend.
Extension 5 years 250M.
50M SB, 10m Base. Cap hit 12.5 prior bonus, 10m new Bonus, 10m base = 32.5M cap hit in year 4.

year 5. 25M roster bonus. 25M base = 10 SB+6.25M RB+25m base = 41.25 cap hit.

This is even easier to do if they do agree to a 5 year deal to start with but you can see how you can really pay below 40M in cap hits for a very long time.
Which is all well and good but right now they are going in 22m under the cap. with a lot of open roster spots. They can create space but is it significant enough space to get FA that will perform.

And you would have wasted money. Brady would have been in a body bag. But keep it up.

we can cut half the team and win with super stats. we don't need but 22 players on the team with him. Give the legend 50 million

Wasted money like we did with Dak this year?

So we could've risked it with Tom Brady instead of Dak who actually couldn't win and got hurt?
You’re ridiculous. Nothing would have changed lol. Nothing at all. Brady wouldn’t have lasted more than 2 weeks

how did we waste money with dak? Wins are a QB stat now?
How did Russell Wilson do in round one this season? Since you know. He’s elite and overcomes his horrible defence?

They are likely about 37M under the cap with 37M due to Dak. --projected cap is about 192M at least check but Spotrac is using the low water mark of 175.
But they can free up plenty of cap space if they so desire.

As always it comes down to will Stephen back off his hate of signing free agents.

If he follows prior years he will sign discount bin vets who can prop up a position until the draft class arrives.
See Haha, Poe, Allen Hurns, Deonte Thompson, George Iloka et al.
Or if they go look for a starter to lock down an actual position in free agency.

But it won't be because they couldn't find the money.

Oh you mean the cut-off point after he won his second SB? What is MT career average in the play-offs, you know when you are normally playing play-off calibre defenses?

This year being an outlier because some of the FA signed many here were stoked by the signings, Poe, HAHA, McCoy. They blow their wad on a stud FA or two and they are done. Not saying they should but due diligence has to be done.

All 3 of those guys were low water signings.
They were at best 1 year stop gap starter plans.

Dix was a 1 year signing at low money.
McCoy was a 2 year deal for a 32 year old who had tailed off but offered hope.
Poe was cheap and coming off a really poor season.

Dallas fills holes in free agency so they aren't desperate in the draft but they added nothing more than at best very low level starters.
And that's the real deal. If you have 5 holes on defense and sign 2 stop gap guys and 3 draftees to cover those holes you are just kicking the can at those 2 vet spots.

Dallas could go get 1 difference maker and 2 marginal starters than go draft.
It'd make life on the defense a lot easier if one guy in that secondary was a leader and bellcow since you are drafting(just drafted in Trevon Diggs/Donovan Wilson's case) the rest of it.
