I don't get the GG love. He has been around for a while and the only real significant playing time he has gotten was here. Yeah he showed out but it was one game where the Steelers thought they could sleep walk through the game. I would try and find a tried and true back up instead of pinning hopes on a guy that had a decent performance in a 7 "year" NFL career.

not surprising at this stage.
No offseason,.. no OTAs,.. no preseason games ...very limited reps in training camp,.. he just hasn't had proper time and experience to develop considering the circumstances.

Robert Griffin would not be my first choice, but more so a very last minute resort.
I'd look at other options out there first.

Kurt Warner had a 5-year slow & struggling start....but he didn't bounce around as much. UDFA to Packers PS for one season, 3 years on the same indoor league team, one season in NFL Europe.

If the following are true:
1. The price is low.
2. We can't get Dalton back
3. His skill set is still good (at a journeyman level).
4. His attitude is good and we know he'll give it an honest effort in big D.
