He probably earned himself a bigger deal than what the Cowboys will offer.

That being said, he's still a JAG. Slightly above average and not a QB that will win you games in January.

I don’t disagree that he’s probably not the qb to give you the best shot to win in Jan but he’s a starting caliber qb in the nfl, granted a lower level starter, in my book that’s way more than a JAG...

also; I think if he has a starter role on a team for the whole offseason and time to prepare and build chemistry you will see his play improve just like he did with us down the stretch. Again, not better than dak and a middle of the road starter but still a starter nevertheless.

Don't think he'll be cheap enough. Good backup but we'll need cap space, especially with the new projected cap and looming big contract for Dak. The front office must think economics with every move they make.

Will be tough to keep him.

he had solid numbers, even with the OL mess.

and he’s tough. Took that hit to the head and came back.

depends on what his wife wants....he’s near the end of his career.

Some team will offer $$$.

if you have a good enough of a team to make it to January then he can help win games in January.

Also how do you think the team got to play in January, with a QB to help them get there.
Still a team game to win, no matter what month.

There was a thread or post on how many teams needs a QB, so yes some team will pay him enough. So I hope it is enough to get us a 3rd round comp pick.

I’d say yes, but ONLY if it’s cheap and easy.

Nope.....The Football gods don’t answer his prayers!

I would like to keep him but I do think he will get an offer to start, Much like we saw with Fitzpatrick where he held the spot until Tua was ready to step in.

If Prescott is resigned then with deficiencies on defense and how much cap space is already committed to the offense then we will not be able to afford him.
