There's not a chance in hell the NFL could reasonably dump the super bowl onto a new host with only 2 week to prepare. Just the security aspects alone are a huge undertaking, and you can't just sit down for a meeting 1 day and have every thing covered.

I used to work for a major company and my department helped plan special events for the company and its employees. And the outside contracts, the set up, the guest acts, vendors, etc., all have contracts that were date specific but with reasonable contingency clauses. We'd have to work a year out just to book a facility and book performers.

I agree. There's no way you can turn that around in two weeks. And to do so would cost an ASTRONOMICAL amount of money.

The first one for sure, but this last one was over thrown. Hard to catch a ball with your fingernails.

Then what's the point of moving the SB location about? Just put it in Honolulu, San Diego, London, and/or Orlando every year. No chance of the host team playing in it then as they have no home teams.
